Certainly sounds interesting. I'm not sure that it would matter, but maybe try to place the location of the test balloon (ride peak) on this new site plan? It'll give us amateur coaster designers something to go on.

@kingadam suggested this to me privately but, honestly, I'm attempting to avoid pinpointing the location of the height waiver. The papers filed with the county are very vague regarding the exact location of the highest point and, while the FAA permit offers coordinates, I don't know how accurate those really are either. ?
B&M would never attempt turns that tight. They have good relations because they’re good at what they do. This is an Intamin job no doubt. Intamins have been boosting attendance by large amounts “recently”, and if they pull this off which I think they very much could, we could have a good park manufacturer relationship. On top of that, B&M doesn’t currently hold a contract with SWPE like Intamin does. I’m putting all of my chips into Intamin. And what Zach said. The shaping of the turns, as vague as they are, look extremely similar to currently standing Intamin coasters.I doubt they will go Intamin. They have no need. They have such good relations with B&M and I doubt they would bet all their cards on a manufacturer they haven't worked with for something this big. B&M gets my vote. Second, Mack.
So when can we expect the park to open the new coaster?
Please no. Everyone says that coaster is just alright. We should want either a B&M giga, an LSM launch like Taron, a T-Rex, or another interesting option, a Vekoma like Lech. The most relieving part of this whole report is that we now know that Project Madrid is indeed a roller coaster. If it is indeed an Intamin, I am hoping for something along the lines of Hyperion in Energylandia.
So is that no longer the case with the recent news about the coaster footers on the plans? Just to make clear what's going on....As for Project Madrid being put on hold, I have heard from my sources that work with James City County that that is indeed the case and that the project has been put on hold for the time being.
