I don't think this would be the case because it would take longer to restart the ride. Launch 1 looks like it needs to reset at the actual launch panel in order to go again. So there would need to be a maintenance man at controls and also one remote at the first launch. Also, launch 1 needs additional time to reset because the train is launched backwards towards the station first, then it'll launch through the roll.I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s standard for when they add a train on? Like it makes more sense than sending the train all the way around to the final brakes and sit just before the transfer.
Maybe not immenent. I personally wouldn't be surprised for a soft open at some point in February. Depends on a couple other things I don't know enough about to speak on.Does this mean... Soft pre-pre-opening is immenent?
They will probably park it on the brakes and then add the 2nd train. Thats what they do at the other coasters so I don't expect it to be different. They may be practicing evac's or just testing relaunches from launch 1.I don't think this would be the case because it would take longer to restart the ride. Systematically, I believe it would be faster to send an empty train around - park it on the final brakes, then add the 2nd train. If launch 1 is able to reset itself from the main panel, then maybe it would be faster. But I'm oblivious to the actual controls of this ride.
It was testing before gates opened and with the exception of a break around lunch most of the day so it definitely was well over 25 cycleBlues coasters on insta is live streaming testing… it’s on at least it’s 25th cycle
Not sure, but they don't have to have that done until they are ready to open the ride to the public. We probably won't know until someone lays eyes on the control booth to see the sticker. Is it actually certified by JCC/VA to operate, or just the construction is complete?
Getting to be first in line only to find out as you leave the station and pass the ops that there’s no stickerNot sure, but they don't have to have that done until they are ready to open the ride to the public. We probably won't know until someone lays eyes on the control booth to see the sticker.
I have not seen any records on JCC's permit site.Is it actually certified by JCC/VA to operate, or just the construction is complete?
Everybody loves a soft pre-pre-opening.Does this mean... Soft pre-pre-opening is immenent?
Do we think we will see any sort of soft opening before the members rides or will we just go straight into members rides as a soft opening?Yeah, as far as I know (thanks @Jahrules), Pantheon doesn't have an Amusement Device permit yet. When that shows up, it will be time to start thinking about a potentially imminent soft opening timeline.

From what history shows us, it will be soft opening on a random Tuesday, followed by "technical rehearsals for 2 weeks, then members only rides on the Wednesday before opening, media day Thursday, then grand opening Friday. Random days with members ERT an hour after park close thought the month after it opens, then a paid add on membership that has one ERT a month for the first year, etcDo we think we will see any sort of soft opening before the members rides or will we just go straight into members rides as a soft opening?

Probably, I was only half serious, half making a joke at SEAS expense, that they would just screw over the members again.I think it's a lot more fair to look at the Ice Breaker format. They have previews starting weeks before the official opening with the first preview window limited to Platinum. For now, I'm expecting the same in Williamsburg.
