So probably just a paranoid thought but these qqs are not good till June. Any possibility the park is hedging their bets on a March opening.

I don’t think so. I think the park is just waiting until after platinum passes and everyone else get their early ride time.

I think it's more that they don't want a ton of quick queues out there right when it's open. It most likely won't be on the regular quick queues until around when these are good. That's normally what they do for a new ride, it takes a few months for quick queue to be available for a ride.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the only way to get quick queue initially would be the roller coaster insider tour, that would be my best guess.

While I really wish Pantheon had more themeing I also never really understand the need to compare a ride at what is extensively a big regional park to that of a major international vacation resort park. The production quality is always going to be vastly different.
Simply put, these two coasters aren't a good comparison- (Pantheon and Velocicoaster). They're different rides.
The better comparison will be Pantheon and Toutatis (when it's complete).

There’s never gonna be two trains on the track at once most likely, right? Like, there could be but most likely won’t outside of super fast ops right?

When you think about it, technically while the swing launch could be a block brake it probably isn't programmed as one since the previous control point is the station - by the time the next train is ready for dispatch it'll already be in the final brake run anyways.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, the first train would have to completely clear the top hat first, and then the window for dispatch is only like 20 seconds where it could be counted as 2 at a time.

Honestly, there would be no point in dispatching the train when the one before hasn't started to enter the brake run yet. The maximum capacity for the ride won't increase any more than a train that does not stop until it gets back into the station. You can actually decrease capacity if you dispatch too early, as you won't have enough time to load the next train before one after comes back in.

Also thought about it further - does the swing launch actually have a way to predictably stop a train completely? I get that during testing they stopped trains there, but in regular operating mode could the ride actually stop a train or would it be more like eventually coming to via valleying?

They would have to (if not already) test stopping and restarting in auto mode. Because the launch stators are at the bottom of the launch bunny hill, re-starting would not be an issue. They also have brakes on top of the hill, where there are no stators, to help with stopping at any point. Personally, wish they had stators on the whole hill for a more thrilling launch, but I guess they didn't need them and we'll find out why in (hopefully) a few months.

Pantheon hits the top hat and brake section not too far apart from Velocicoaster. I’m sure Pantheon will run faster with a full train but the difference will still be minimal

Maybe this is dumb, but when saying the track length is X feet, should Pantheon's be longer than it states here because it traverses part of it multiple times? Shouldn't the forward, backward and forward again sections each count as track length? I guess the question is, is track length the distance travelled or the physical length of the track?
