My guess is that if it opens at all, its gonna be saturday. that gives them tomorrow to do the final 2 inspections, and then it makes it so it doesnt have to open on july 4th itself

Why the hell would you open a new ride on one of the busiest days of the year? Thats just asking for a clusterfuck.

Good publicity for the rest of the year. Make the vacationers flip out and go home and tell their friends (who probably have the same amount of money to burn) how amazing the new ride is....then those friends make a trip that wasn't planned...and so forth.

Another huge burst of activity on the inspection front for Pantheon...

Huge thanks to @Adam & @Jahrules! ❤️

Looks like opening this weekend or next weekend is getting more likely by the hour

there are no dummies in the trains iirc. my friend told me a couple days ago but it could be wrong

Someone should check to see if there’s water dummies in either trains
There were no dummies on either train last week. I am unsure in reading the law on the books if they could run it even with employees on it without the close out inspection. I would tend to guess not.

With Iron Gwazi running with people on it, might be an indication that Seas has decided to turn on the switch for their new rides? Keep an eye out for people on the trains?

are the inspections scheduled today the final ones that need to be done?

We still need building:final for the queue. And there was a partial pass for an aspect of the electrical (could have been dealt with but paperwork not caught up).

What we've seen with some of these is that they get handled in person or with a phone call and the paperwork gets caught up later.

Im sure they’ll rave about all the long lines and downtime that happens when you open a new ride too. So much wishful thinking going on here.

Alright Debby, we can have some hype for a little bit. A whole cycle of SEAS news comes out so of course people are gonna rave for pantheon. Ride it in May then if you want to get the feel of a “proper” opening.

Upsell the QQ.
Plus, these are people who get here once, maybe twice a year (or every other year). They may also be people who are used to Disney or Universal lines. When I was young and dumb, I waited 5 and a half hours for DarKastle on opening day, and then got stuck on the ride for another 30-45 minutes.

Point is, there are people who will willingly wait in line for the newest thing (even if it's new to them), just like I'll avoid Apollo's if there's a line, but yet...the line still exists. We'll be at Seaworld for a day in August, and I am willing to wait in line to go on coasters that are new to me and who knows when I'll get back to.

Edit: two letters

This would actually be a relatively decent time for Gwazi to open as Tampa is a year round full operation park and there is heavy competition for Halloween events in Florida having a new draw makes good business sense I not sure that a similar argument can be made for BGW but tend to think not. I not sure that it's wise to assume that movement on one is going to be an indication of movement on the other. For that matter corporate is in Florida and has just had some recent management changes this could be nothing more then showing off the newest asset to the new guy.
