Good catch on the gauge. I was thinking there was no way that small section of LSM stators would be enough, but there's also only a maybe 20mph max speed increase on the second launch section. If they covered the entire length between switch and tophat with LSMs, it would actually be really long for such a small increase in speed.

The LSMs look to be aligned with the brake fins, so I'm guessing at least in the area we can see with brake fins, there won't be any more LSMs. I'd guess the switch itself won't have any because of the forces involved, but who knows if there will be more LSMs on the descending side of the hill.

@ControlsEE looks like there are a few white things sticking up between brake fins. What do you think those might be? They don't look familiar and I'm pretty sure they aren't LSMs.

The second photo before the one of Kevin shows an arm sticking out of one of the supports away from the track that looks like it's meant to support something much smaller.

I don't recall seeing anything like this on other rides, anyone know what it's for?

Pretty sure that's just the catwalk support. Look at the picture after that one where the catwalks are already installed.

They are probably debris clearing pieces of plastic. Each of those fit just barely without scraping the sides of the magnets to knock off any debris that may be stuck to that it doesn't damage stators or brake fins. Usually they have sensors attached to them so that the ride stops if anything too large gets hit, again, to avoid damage. They will have those around the station and before/during any launches/brakes. You can clearly see them in Verbolten's station.

One last thought about the media day tour.

I thought it was really weird that the ACE president was a 'stop' on the tour. I really have no positive/negative opinion of ACE as an organization; but she literally had nothing of substance to add to the tour other than "I'm super excited to ride this!"

"Any questions for me???"

Awkward silence.

Okay moving along.

She was literally the only stop with 0 questions whatsoever.

Thinking about it from her perspective, marketing BGW's rides for them isn't her job. I would hate being used like a prop at a park's media event. That has to be uncomfortable for her.

So what would happen if someone brought up the 2021 leaks at one of these? Anyone more talented want to do some quick creative writing playing that situation out to humour us?

I don't think it requires much creativity.

"What about the 2021 project?"

- "our policy is we don't comment on hypothetical/unannounced projects"

They would just say “Fake News.....next question?”

Parks are too concerned with record-breaking. It doesn't always equal a great ride. As said there are better features to Pantheon than 'fastest multi-launch'.
Even when they break records, they don't seem to tout them after the initial hype. Alpengeist is STILL the tallest invert in the world. That's quite a tag. Do they ever promote that?

Hey, theming!

Just heard the ACE hard hat tour is cancelled due to the heavy rains.
