RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

Is there evidence that the work on Drachen Fire's station is anything other than the removal of Bitten and preparation for HOS?

There were was definitely utility conduits being laid in that area but that could ve for anything beyond that i have seen and heard nothing. Also lights on in the building might not mean anything.lots of places leave them on in vacant areas for security reasons and ti make responce to any incident easier. Disney still leaves lights on in the river countrt area which has been out of use for a17 years as an example.

If this was going to be an Ispeed type ride the thing I was most looking forward to would be a high speed inline twist. IMO taking away those inversions is like drawing back the intensity. No inversions sounds like a non inverting loop. The way Madrid not describes this it seems the most exciting part will be the height. Pretty much nothing more than  a record breaker to draw in crowds. I'm not very thrilled right now. If this is true I think a B&M giga would have been a better option. I hope I am proven wrong.

What's kinda strange about that is BGW doesn't really strike me as a park to set records or do one off for the sake of notoriety.

Not recently but Apollo, Alpengst, and Griffin were all record holders when they opened. As a matter of fact Griffin held the record for tallest dive coaster untill last year when Cedar Point opened their knew one.

I honestly would 100% agree with you about BTW in the past, and it still may be true. SWP&E are having financial hardships right now and IMO the best park to pull them out is BGE. Seaworld has an image problem, BGT has relied on a shuttle from Orlando for patronage many people actually being brought in by SWO by shuttle or combo ticket. Discovery Cove has a limit on daily admissions.
If we are to believe the highest point is 310' I feel that it is fair to assume the drop will be between 330' and 340'. A record breaker to bring people in could be the beginning of an attempt to make BGW the flagship park or maybe just more attractive for a sale. Remember people still go to carowinds JUST FOR Fury. After how well Invadr was received its not to farfetched to imagine they may feel positive about somewhat of a financial gamble for huge ROI.

Are we sure this is an accelerator or do some believe it will be a giga?

I really hope non-inverting means lap bars.
It should.
I305 has vests. I can understand because it has more aggressive transitions than, say, Superman: Ride of Steel.

If station work is going on at the Drachen Fire site, the tallest point is in the Festa Fields on the other side of the Rhine, which is not a tophat or a lift apparently, what else could be that high other than a Mr. Freeze-type spire? This would result in a shuttle-style ride. How can you create a high capacity roller coaster with blocks that is 310' feet high and have it also be a shuttle?

Maybe it's a giant overbanked curve? Not overbanked enough to count as an inversion?

Won't be an overbank, and I misread some info. There still may be inversions, just no vertical loops,
