Eh, when has that mattered to a park with Vikings battling the French?
You're right, that plays into account too. And it's not up to the park to explain geography to people. However, I'm thinking about this from a generic guest stand point. If it's something guests won't question (Vikings in new France) it's a lot easier to get away with it, than something more people are familiar with.I don't think people weren't taught as much as they don't care. I know people who think Pompeii was the name of the mountain not the city. If the park needs to 'explain' the Geography: Festa Italia is Naples, MMXX is Vesuvius, Pompeii, San Marco is, I dunno, Genoa.
True. But I think they'll lean towards a figure (human/God/Kingsmill resident). Or some nonsensical "Invadr" type name like "Launchious Maximus".Honestly.....why should BGW/SEAS care? KD is competition, not their own property.
I'm so glad Parkfans isn't naming this ride... Haven't really seen any others with potential.
I'm so glad Parkfans isn't naming this ride. The coaster design is a let down (to me). The colors are meh. Here's hoping they at least get a name right.
'Mercury' & 'Minotaur' have potential. Haven't really seen any others with potential. I'm guessing Hercules but don't necessarily like it as a name/theme.
News flash! Those names were previously suggested by Parkfans members.'Mercury' & 'Minotaur' have potential.
