The nature of this ride with the fast switch track is going to complicate operations vs any other ride in the park. If this thing becomes a real maintenance queen, I wouldnt be surprised to see modifications to the ride such as enclosing parts of the ride or very worst case removing the switch part of the ride.

How the heck could they remove the switch? Unless they add stators and crank up the juice?

Is the switch track a known issue at the time, or is this just everyone speculating? It isn't like this is the first / only coaster this system has been put on, you'd have thought they'd have worked that portion out to be pretty reliable. As a side note, I'd love to see them turn the LSMs up to Ludacris mode and just yeet the train over in one go 😂.

Intramin is the known issue. :)

Pretty sure that’d also require turning up the power for that first launch too id imagine

The known issue is the safety mechanisms and resiliency needing to be built in to operate a fast switch mid ride is going to complicate operations. The sensors and safety mechanisms have to be very conservative, vice a normal braking system. Adding in open weather and various pests from being outside and this ride could be down for maintenance a lot.

Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if this ride only lasts 10 years or so a’la Hypersonic with the complication of what was built.

So employee is telling guests that they rode it and that it launches back TWICE. I know it never did that during testing so I am assuming it's a wild tell but has anyone heard anything supporting this?

Like does the spike twice before going over the top hat?

That was how it sounded from his description. He even said "that's the surprise they aren't telling people about." I don't know the person and definitely am not taking it as fact.

There are 7 distinct launches. The swing launch section consists of 2 launch tracks. So yes, it does launch backwards twice.
That what I thought but his description sounded like it did the spike twice
