I think with a proper paint scheme, it could blend in the area. This is "Rush" at Thorpe Park. Interesting is they took a slightly more "industrial" installation with the compressed air tanks alongside the pillars. rush01.jpg

They really can be beautiful attractions for a flat ride if theming is added. I hope it isn't just a plain arch and they decide to make it aesthetically pleasing

Having rode Dollywood's swing yesterday, I will say that this ride addition will be completely badass regardless of tree loss. This was a very fun ride. It feels like delerium at KD without the spinning. It has a very small footprint and the Dollywood version has literally no queue. I'm guessing bg's version will need more queue, but figuratively speaking, this thing is small in scale.

I mean Dollywood has cut down tons of trees thus far. Lightning Rod was literally built into a forrest.

Guess I should start blabbing about this ride a bit...

The ride platform is much smaller than Dollywood's. According to things I've seen, the park has made every attempt to limit the extent of the platform on the Heatherdowns-side of the attraction.

Interesting. I'm wondering then if that number, the cost of the attraction, and maybe one or two other things in that form were their high end estimates so that way if they need more space or whatever they don't have to re-apply.

Well this confirms a lot. I think its great that they are revamping Ireland and a large visual attraction will help dirrect the flow of people. Especially with Madrid making that side of the park even stronger.

Honestly, BGW's won't have a large queue either. Smaller than Mach Tower's for sure.
Given the location that actually concerns me. I can very easily see crowds backing up and blocking the already small walkway off the bridge.

Considering how much temporary queue space they have allocated for rides like Griffon, Pompeii, and even sitting in front of Darkastle, I'm pretty sure they'll account for that and have a temporary queue pen set up for the anticipated new ride crowds until the hype dies down.

I rather they do this than end up with a needlessly longe queue that doesn’t get used much after the first year.

According to Screamscape Seaworld San Antonio is getting a Zamperla Midi- Discovery. They say this is like a small swinging pendulum ride. They like buying multiples, could this be what's coming to Ireland?
