I echo Applesauce's and Thomas's thoughts.

I think Tempesto is a great compact coaster with a few serious problems. Capacity is the obvious one, but the asinine restraint system is probably the most important. In the front row, my neck hit the OTRS. Hard. Multiple times. Because of the incredibly tight elements that come out of basically nowhere, bracing yourself for what's to come is practically impossible. The front provides much stronger forces than the back, but because of the OTSR, I found the ride in the front row far too uncomfortable.

Overall, it's a solid little coaster with a few glaring problems that still, ultimately feels very out of place at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Just a warning, the ride ops for Tempesto are very strict on the no loose articles policies. No glasses unless you have secure straps, no lanyards or necklaces, etc. They will stop you to make sure you have nothing on you.

^To add on, abosultely nothing in your pockets either. And its for good reasons. You go into that first cork screw super slow. It would be super easy to lose things.

Don't you mean you're "Tem-pissed-o"?

Really though, you can't possibly be surprised about Tempesto not being open today, after multiple users clearly stating that it wouldn't.

So if no glasses are allowed then what am I supposed to do, pay for a locker because I have eye sight issues. Like It would be understandable somewhat if lockers were free. I would hope that they at least let you put them on the exiting side of the station elsewise I will be very upset.

UTK, I completely understand your frustrations, as somebody who wears glasses. From what I've understood, the lockers by Tempesto are completely new, and apparently the first 45 minutes of the locker is free. But that's according to the employees. The sign doesn't say that at all. I didn't hear from somebody who used it if the first 45 minutes were actually free or not.

Also the ride videos shown next to the ride seems to say that they'll allow glasses only if you have a strap on them. However with that slow corkscrew I'm not sure what that strap will do to stop you from losing your glasses.

But in all honesty, I'd rather pay the 1$ for a locker for my glasses, than wear them and end up losing them on Tempesto, and end up paying for an eye exam, new frames and new lenses.

Applesauce I understand that you could loose them easily but for me im as blind as a bat and with expecting long lines with low capacity i just would much rather at least be able to sit them to the side than have them in a locker and not be able to really see. I mean if its that strict ill put them in a locker or find somewhere to put them. I just don't want to be in line for a long time without my glasses.

I'm pretty blind myself without my glasses. There's is no place on the ride platform to leave your glasses. Anything they collect from guests has to go with a ride op on the other side of the gates. Nothing is allowed to stay in the station. And to be honest I'm not sure where the ride op even puts things they collect from guests who some how managed to sneak by. There's really nowhere to put things.

I highly suggest just getting a locker for your glasses. It's a huge pain in the ass, I totally get it. But it's better than having the ride op take them and placing them who knows where. (I assume they place them along the exit pathway. And I really don't like the idea of glasses being placed on the ground or on the curb next to the ground where a bunch of people walk by after they exit.)
