This bike theme thingy might actually be useful information pointing toward ride aspects. Maybe they are planning on altering the trains on the cloned coaster to simulate a bike. Strapping yourself to a fake bike and flipping over 156 feet in the air would be a unique experience. They could call it 'shockwave' too :)

So here is how I think the park is thinking on a larger scale. Understand this is based off of two observations and that a study hardly makes.

When traveling to Europe one of the things that stands out is the age of certain areas and how they have been recyled over the years. This is especially true in Rome.

In the case of the re-theme of England and now of FI, it seems that perhaps that is what the park is trying, albeit badly to do. It seems like they are trying to make things look like modern(ish) Europe with the backdrop of an oldertime.

Don't get me wrong, I REALLY hope I am totally off base, but it is least some kind of logic.

They managed to make the entrance to Aquitaine look fantastic last year. I don't understand why they can't do things on that level of quality, while still making it "modern."

As much as I want you to be wrong, Zimmy, I feel like you're almost spot-on.

As far as the theme, its literally like they stumbled across some of Paramount's old plans for KD and decided to use them.

I wonder if the designs might change a bit once they switch out Diavolo with the real name, hopefully they do. Because there is nothing exciting about these designs so far.

Even though it doesn't fit into the area, I don't think it seems that bad. At least Festa Italia is still more cohesive than Kings Dominion's safari village area.

Just being better than KD is not a goal that the park should be aiming for.

No, I can promise it wont be. They did the same thing with Verbolten. All the docs showed "Elementum" as the name. Also, the doc Zachary showed that outlines the ride has the name in quotes. That should make it painfully obvious it's a placeholder name.

*sigh*..... Maybe you guys have been right all along. I'm not sure there are enough people left who remember what quality looks and feels like.

Oh, and those posters look amateurish.  There is no way a reputable graphic designer came up with those.  They are awkward and clumsy.  I can only assume they had in house interns design them.  I hope they get worked over heavily by a professional before they get printed.

In all fairness, KD isn't tromping around calling themselves a straight up theme park. BGW will soon be considered 'themed amusement' with rides like this.
