@GriffonRox, @Arrow: Beacause Verboten in German means Forbidden. The Black Forest is, indeed, forbidden. Putting in the "l" turns it in a nice play on words that not only echoes the Black Forest theme but also tells the riders about what to expect. "Bolt" for a launch coaster is certainly appropriate.
I understand how the name ties with the theme (sort of) but (as I have said a few times already) making up fake German words in an American park that is trying to be accurate to historic european theming just seems inappropriate to me. I think the name would kinda work in a German park in Germany but not in a park that actually has some educational value to the theming... people are going to think "verbolten" is a real German word.
And I know I'm kinda ranting here but I just REALLY don't want the coaster replacing the Wolf be named "Verbolten" I just think it's a really, really stupid name!
