So I got bad news today about the project so I guess I will talk about what I know to be true. The schedule, this is the tentative schedule that was issued;

The sfx building (building 80) foundation 5/31/11, floor slab 6/16/11, building erection 10/25/11 so we have to wait until Hollowscream to see the building. This building is slam full of stuff, lights, sounds, effects.

The station; selective demo 6/28/11, station reconstruction 9/7/11, theming 11/30/11. The theming is really nice.

The ride; ride fabrication 5/2/11, (where does Zierer build their track? Zierer is the manufacturer) deliver event building track 9/26/11, ride install inside sfx building 9/27/11, deliver remaining track 11/1/11, ride install outside 11/2/11, deliver 1st train 12/15/11, deliver remaining trains 1/16/12, startup and test 2/9/12. The schedule is very aggressive and the intent is to have the ride ready for opening day.

I've heard a couple numbers for the budget, lowest 51 million highest 54 million. We may never know the exact number but it is a huge amount.

I don't think the name is Elementum or Verbolten. I think they've kept the name totally secret, only a few people actually know it. I don't think they are flip flopping on the name like Cheetah hunt, the theming is too specific. The theming is great and I have a few ideas to the story but they are only guesses from what I've seen. They kept the actual theming details pretty vague.

I've seen a lot of the details to this ride and I think it will be really great, not the ultimate thrill ride but something really special and totally different.

So what exactly is the bad news?

sounds like from the tentative schedule that there may be some track or something going down on the sfx building slab at the beginning of october?

Yes they have to erect the track in the building before they actually build the walls and put the roof on.

I hope the cost from this, vanish point, and Mach tower doesn't affect howl o scream and we can get some new mazes

Thanks for the stupendous dissection on the major agendum in the project. Excitement will definitely furnished as we witness the tasks unravel in the emerging future.

HoS's budget is apportioned from ride construction/maintenance. They have their own funding.

Haha I don't actually have access to that stuff though...but yeah that actually makes sense about the portioning

Zierer is based in Deggendorf, Germany (Bavarian State) and they fabricate everything there.

Short story, we didn't get the job.

didnt get what job?

Im gonna take a wild guess (its not actually wild) and say that zoomy happens to be employed in the offices of a local construction contractor who put a bid in for the project, and im gonna guess that he would have been directly involved with the construction of the building, given the fact about the amount of detail he divulged in the process of constructing it.

Zoomy am I right?
