Could it be the reason you're going into the Black Forest in the first place? Could it be something that you're trying to retrieve for someone? Maybe for someone named Gerta or Gunter? Hmm...

By the way, looking at the concept art and the signage, I'm pretty sure this name is legit.

Interesting thoughts, Swift.

I can't wait to see the video they'll show in queue to explain that.

I can't wait for the preshow to last 2 months before no one ever watches it again.

Sorry. Being mr.negative. haha

I still just want to know what happens right as the train leaves the station. is there a launch? is it slow?

Hopefully this ride won't suffer the same fate as "Curse of DarKastle" where it's first few seasons it will be great but then they will heavily scale it down to the point where the story makes less sense.

I don't see a pre-show room in the queue, but there are at least two very intricately themed queue areas. If I could choose one piece of concept art to show you'll, it would probably be the concept art for Gunter's office. That place looks amazing.

Sorry for double-post, but whaaaatttttt!

You guys (BGWFans) totally filmed me and I had no idea haha
BBW last day
Minute: 3:20 & 6:10

*sniff* if only we were friends back then.....I would've said hello!

Weird to think something new is going there....

That was a sad day.

I'm just glad I was able to go and get a bunch of rides in. I went on opening day in the spring of 1984 so I felt like I had to honor the ride and be there for it's swan song.

This leads me to wonder how long the line will be for this new coaster when it debuts. On BBW's opening day in 1984 the line stretched all the way across the bridge into Italy just past the Ristorante della Piazza. The wait was 3-4 hours but it didn't seem that long because everyone waiting on the bridge just stood there in awe watching the train drop above the water over and over.

They made a big mistake by attempting to do a preshow with only one show room.

On May 5th, JCC's planning division gave Project 2012 final approval, so everything should be good to go for construction to begin.

Funny how a Fan knows that was a fatal mistake... Even if they only had one more it wouldve been fine, and I doubt it wouldve added that much more of a cost to the project.

You forget what rodent has my loyalty :p

Seriously though. In order to maintain capacity you need one ending and one beginning to keep the flow going otherwise it is going to bottleneck. I am sure you remember how bad it backed up before the doors were always left open.

Yes yes, Elementum.

I think that name sucks.:-/
Just being honest.
Man I hope this ride is better than Im envisioning. You know, the whole "family coaster" deal is disturbing. What an excellent opportunity to use that awesome terrain to do something Big and Bad (no pun intended), and to 'waste' it on a "family coaster"? Use Drachen Fire's old space for that trash.

I think they'll do it right. The last drop is taller than the BBW's and the land they're building the building on is already flat so they're not really destroying much of the topography. I think that it will be more thrilling than the BBW (and honestly more thrilling than what I've seen of Cheetah Hunt so far) but won't be super hardcore.

The topography that would be most intriguing is totally being utilized.
