The only thing i hope busch changes (thats if we get a ride that looks like this) is the train and the track. The train looks like an F1 racecar and the seats look toooo pointy and plain......... I would rather get inamins box track than that boring design. COME ON BUSCH!!! I want something exciting and eye capturing for BBW's replacement......If it looks like that, I will walk right past it..

Did anyone notice in the bottom video how when the train gets on the chain lift with chain pops out a little? doesnt look to safe to me.

You seriously want Inta's hideous track style? That is one of the few eyesores I am hoping that we get nothing of.

I 100% TOTALLY agree with ALMS7TH. I would take Intamin's track style over what we've seen from Zierer any day.

So much Intamin hate on this forum.....haha

Actually, I like the look of Intamin's 3-tube track (though their box track is just plain ugly).

I dunno. I disagree. I think it looks pretty cool. I mean, obviously B&M looks better, but the simple track like on Force One just looks awful (have I said this before? haha). If anything, Intamin's supports look awful (Volcano anyone?)

Seen Cheetah Hunt lately?

Oh totally. It looks really cool if that's what you're saying. I'm sure that was a conversation Busch had with Intamin for thematic reasons. Hopefully more Intamin coasters will look as good as Cheetah Hunt but it's not the standard. And I must admit, Intimidator 305's supports are super innovative, unnerving, interesting, and beautiful. Though, as a whole, Intamin supports are total eyesores.

It would actually be cool to see an Arrow Dynamics~esque ride dropping over the Rhine. Too bad they are out of business. ~sad face~

I know! :(

Well....since they're keeping the same footers wouldn't the drop be "Arrow Dynamic-esque" especially since the ride is taller?

Elaborate on "Arrow Dynamic-esque"?

I always thought a woodie would look awesome dropping into the Rhine. BGW needs a decent one...

Intamin is severely hit and miss in my opinion. Some of their coasters look amazing (i305, Maverick, Top Thrill Dragster) while others look like absolute crap (volcano and kingda ka). I have mixed feelings for Intamin like I do with a lot of other companies... I'm a mixed bag depending on how well the ride performs.

Zierer should do a good job with this ride. I did ride some rides that were made by them and they do hold up very nicely. Too bad I won't be able to ride Crossbow since 1) I don't live in NJ anymore and 2) the park it's in says they won't be open this year.

From here:
The star attraction of the park is Wicked, the LSM tower launch coaster. Wicked was manufactured by Zierer. The ride cost ten million to build and nearly 1.5 million of that was just for the sixty foot deep pilings and foundations. The LSM’s in the launch tunnel use a refrigeration system to help keep the heat down. Wicked features a unique observation window into the control system room from the queue line. The trains are 7,000 pounds unloaded and the side and bottom wheels are spring loaded to help keep wear down. There are six cars and five of them can operate at a time.

Wicked has a great track layout but the experience is nearly ruined by a horrible restraint design. Yes, it does what it is supposed to do by keeping riders secure in the car but it is one of the most uncomfortable designs I’ve ever experienced. The front row wasn’t as bad as the back but each time, mid-ride, the restraint would clamp down even tighter than before and I thought I was going to be cut in two pieces. Maybe if the end were a little more rounded it would be better. Nevertheless, Wicked was my favorite ride in the park, closely followed by BomBora.

I don't like the sounds of that...

I think it has no choice BUT to be good. If they don't nail this ride, we will al be extremely disappointed. Not to mention a great ride being replaced by something mediocre.
