Sweet! I like it...but is it wrong that all I can think of is how we're going to nickname it

I mean:
Loch Ness Monster=Loch Ness/Nessie
Apollo's Chariot=Apollo
Alpengeist=well, Alpengeist
Griffron=obviously, Griffon
Curse of DarKastle=DarKastle
Europe in the Air=EiTa
Elementum=????

Like the periodic table, "Em".

Elementum

It's catchy, it sounds slick and high-tech. I would like to hear a well described explanation to how the name relates to the theme.

Alpengiest is often nicknamed "Alpie" and considering the LNM is nicknamed "Nessie" maybe Elementum can be called "Ellie".

Or another nickname could be "The Element" kinda like how the Big Bad Wolf was nicknamed "The Wolf".

If I remember right, there was something along the lines of a gas station being called that. Maybe it's called that because that's what the station is, a gas station.

Hmmm.....Found something interesting: Could Elementum actually be the company that did the concept art for this ride? Elementum is a big ol' company that does promotional stuff for large clients. They specialize in the following:

Motion Graphics, 2D animation, 3D modeling and design, music videos, tv and web commercials, video promo spots, kinetic typography, tv branding and entire shows, film, HD content, green screen, mobile push content, radio spots, voice-overs, music tracks and scoring, photography, brochures, flyers, logos, stationary, biz cards, branding, banners, signs, billboards, DVD packaging, web design, content management systems

It's my best guess that they placed their name on the concept art to protect the actual name of the attraction. With Screamscape's info that they trademarked Verbolten I think this theory makes a lot of sense even though the corporation is Texas based.

I don't think Elementum has anything to do with this ride and Verbolten = Forbidden with an "l" in German which would totally fit into a Black Forest theme and was on the survey.

Thoughts?

Elementum wasn't the company that did the concept art. Again, obviously it doesn't mean the art is accurate, but it was in multiple places with the same styling. Verbolten was not located anywhere, though "Verboten" was.

I have heard numerous confirmations from reliable sources that the name will not be "Verbolten".

Ah ha! You are reading my posts Chris! :p
So why decide to release this information?

Also, assuming you're right ArrowWolf, what the *#$&* does Elementum have to do with this attraction!? (and before it comes up, Intimidator relates directly to the Dale Ernhart theme at KD since he was nicknamed the intimidator)

Just describing things I've heard and seen.

Elementum could be directly related to the theme. Questor had a weird name, but, directly related to the theme.

Questor was the name of the ship wasn't it? I don't think that "Elementum" is the name of "the spirit of the forest"

I don't know. that's why I'm asking for an explanation.

Elementum could be something that powers your vehicle. There could be a number of ways it's related to the theme.

I don't know... I kinda like it. I thought Verbolten sucked so I'm glad they're not going for that.

Could it be the reason you're going into the Black Forest in the first place? Could it be something that you're trying to retrieve for someone? Maybe for someone named Gerta or Gunter? Hmm...

By the way, looking at the concept art and the signage, I'm pretty sure this name is legit.
