I have heard somthing that has to do with May Memorial day? Could this be when the teaser site goes live or is this just going to be an event? Also I have a felling their not going to offical announce it until August :)

Don't listen to everything that you hear. They have a major new attraction that is slated for Grand Opening that weekend. There is no way they would overshadow that with 2012

I don't think they'd do anything to distract from the opening of Mach Tower or Cheetah Hunt for that matter.

The two Busch parks have nothing to with eachother for the most part. That is coming from a former regular that posted on here a TON. Cheetah Hunt has a ton more to worry about with the other major Orlando attractions that what is happening 700+ miles away. As far as Mach T goes. + rep.

this puts the 300+ speculation to rest it will be 95 feet at its tallest point

What I find most interesting about that document is that it states that "the majority of the ride" will be in the event building.

It even mentions that the 95 foot mark might be inside the building. That makes me wonder how tall Flight of Fear is at it's highest point (edit 74ft). It also says that only ten feet higher than BBW at most, which means we're probably going to get a very similar drop at the end, which is good.

It just hit me...

Themed Bridge....

The themed bridge will probably be the exit bridge of the ride. it looked like it extended over the break run in those video diagrams

do yall htink the ride would launch into the event building and then only come out for the drop over the rhine and to go back to the station?

I will say this could be a rumor BUT, its the first rumor that actually fits all of the insane things we have been hearing...

German make, vertical launch, autobahn theme... Zierer...

We'll see.

In case you don't want to click the link to read what was written, here it is:

1. Coaster made by Zierer
2. 8 cars per train (16 people per train) load/unload 2 trains at a time in station.
3. Car themed (autobahn?)
4. Covered bridge finale where BBW drop was (approx. 126' drop) not sure if special effects are used.
5. The building looks to have a forest theme inside, with some kind of show finale before you exit the building.

There was also a MSPaint drawing of what the interior of the building supposedly looks like.

This is true.

i don't see this turning out well...
Based on other rides zierer has made, i dont see it fitting in at all.

edit: If this really is car themed, so much for verbolten... Get used to turbo black forest racer... really hope they prove me wrong.

It will be the first of it's kind for Zierer. I'm optimistic, hopefully it works better than Arrow's attempt at evolution (Drachen Fire). It will be an experience though.

I'm curious about how lines are going to be since there will be since it's only 16 people per train. This is making me think of the long wait times on Volcano as opposed to anything else in King's Dominion.

If the diagram showing the layout inside the building is correct with two blocks then BGW will be able to cycle more trains throughout the ride at one time.

Volcano has no block brake and that kills the capacity as they can not launch a train until the previous one hits the brake run.

Intawho? :p

I am sure Busch had concepts submitted from multiple designers before they picked heads over tails. Not to mention I think that they know a bit more about coasters as a company now than what they did at DF's time(if one applied they are thinking logically). Im putting the good graces in it to lets hop on for the ride.

I have an odd feeling that this will turn out very similar to Drachen Fire just with Zierer copying Intamin instead of Arrow copying B&M. I doubt roughness will be this coaster's weak point though- I'm more than a bit worried about downtime.

That's probably just because I'm a pessimist though.
