The track layout is simpler than I thought it would be...

My guess is that the outside portion of the track will be taking advantage of the terrain (hugging the ground/Rhine). I'm sure the indoor portion will provide a number of twists.

That's what I'm hoping for. I'm glad the layout is somewhat similar to the Wolf's (at least the drop over the Rhine). I just hope they don't put too much focus on the indoor part and not do much on the outdoor part. It should be a "coaster with a few dark ride elements", not a "dark ride with a few coaster elements".

I'm also hoping they don't go too over the top with cheesy and gimmicky 3-D crap in the building. Most coasters don't need crazy effects to be exciting and this one is no exception.

Don't judge the layout too harshly yet, this is the rough path but it doesn't show the actual track path, twists and turns nor the launches. Where do you see the bridge?

I'm excited about the indoor parts, I'm actually partial to indoor coasters. I'm also glad that they're keeping the drop over the lake.

Anybody else thinking that they could possibly call this "Big Bad Wolf 2" or something along those lines with this layout?

Yea you're right. I'm kinda hoping somewhere on the outdoor portion of the track layout will be a little helix like the Wolf used to have.

That name wouldn't fit the theme I've heard the ride will have.

I've been wishing for a clever wolf name/theme since the beginning of the project, but it's doubtful now. And if they did, It would be something more clever than just "Big Bad Wolf 2".

Can you go into detail?

Not specifically, but I can tell you the park has already told everyone the theme.

If you got the survey from the park in January, the park told you the theme... for real.

I heard it had an "Actobahn" theme. Although the black forest would make more sense.

I knew about the Black Forest stuff, I was just curious if there was anything more detailed out yet.

I hope it's not Autobahn, it really wouldn't fit.

I remember they were tossing around the Black Forest and AutoBahn but I didn't think those were confirmed. I think they need more emphasis on the Black Forest theme if that's what they're going for. I thinks it's too vague. I'm also guessing that this coaster will not have a mascot. (Which will be a BGW first.) Hopefully they will think of a better name too!

There's definitely more detail, you won't be disappointed.

A mascot/story was more along the lines of what I was curious about. I liked how the other coasters have these small stories attached to them.

Edit: That's good to hear then, I'll eagerly wait for more information.

I think that the only concern I have about this ride is this building that they will be building. I just hope it's not to hideous. Busch Gardens is well known for their landscaping and the vegetation in the park, and I hope that this does not take away from that. I really enjoy indoor Roller Coasters, but I just hope this doesn't take away from the atmosphere of the park.

The ride will certainly have a story; even Griffon has some theming to it. It's just that's it's hard to nail down a mascot if it is themed to the Black Forest or the Autobahn. "Hey, look at Timmy the Tree!" or "It's Lightning McQueen!" are pretty terrible mascots. I think the layout will be good and I'm liking what I see. This ride should definitely not be Autobahn-themed, though. It's a park themed to a time before cars and a ride in a dense forest. It has Black Forest written all over it. That being said, I would be shocked if it wasn't Black Forest-themed.

Agreed, I'm hoping most (if not all) of the building will have a nicely themed facade. They better not cut any corners like they did with DarKastle's facade. Which looks great except for the large visible un-themed section.

I can't imagine them using a happy kiddie mascot for the ride. It would be something intimidating like all of the others. If they do something like an evil anthropomorphic tree creature I'm boycotting BGW forever!
