hey are keeping the floor. That could be easily flattened out.

Exactly. BBW was suspended and the room for the braking system, track, etc was at the top. It would be impossible from an engineering perspective to be able to fit the track, brakes, transport system, etc in the station without some sort of modification.

The Station will most definitely be modified. probably with the original floor removed, redone as concrete, leveled.

The exit stairs will probably be moved as well for high capacity reasons.

I HIGHLY suggest watching this Chesapeake Bay James City Planning meeting. The coaster's layout (excluding the indoor portion) is shown.

Great find, posted to the front page.

Funny, all the secrecy then it ends up being on a public access forum. That is the layout of the ride, and as far as I can tell from the civil drawings, with some modifications they are reusing all the BBW footers that are still in place.

the transfer table is very Intamin-like in the picture. The themed bridge looks like and exit bridge going over the the brake run area.

It's worth noting that they called this a family ride.

Isn't BGT calling Cheetah Hunt a ride for the whole family. And if the 48" height limits stay then it will be.

Definitley and Intamin...

And I was almost right! v

I'd really hold off on declaring who the maker is based on the images available. There's a lot of inferred evidence in favor of an Intamin, but it's just that, inferred.

To me, the dark ride section alone is enough to make me think that this isn't Intamin-made. When did Intamin make a dark ride? Same thing with the park calling this a family coaster. When was the last time that Intamin made a family coaster?

Just some food for thought...

The track layout is simpler than I thought it would be...

My guess is that the outside portion of the track will be taking advantage of the terrain (hugging the ground/Rhine). I'm sure the indoor portion will provide a number of twists.
