^ Even though a name like Blitzkreig would be awesome, I think it is very clear that BGW is leaning away from "nitty, gritty" themes towards more colorful, generic, and family-oriented. Other than HOS and Christmastown, this is all that BGW has done in the last 3 years.

I was just joking based off of wolf blitzer. Ha. But if you like it ...

there are reports the roller coaster will be stationary as giant screens zoom past you, disorienting you while also keeping you captivated.

i still like what swift had to say they could still build a 300+ coaster with the height and the drop over the rhine theyre just waiting so KD cant make anything for 2012. and something i was thinking the 95 foot building could be a launch building that could launch you 95 feet and then out of the bulding and then into another launch and eventually taking you to the height of mach tower and then drop you over the rhine so 300+ is possible

Personally, I hope it's not 300 feet. I'd rather it be a lower to the ground coaster (BBW) that uses it's terrain!

We've basically established that 300 ft. is not gonna happen for this coaster, at least.

While I enjoy the feeling of speed that being close to the ground gives you, I fear that if it's made by Intamin' we could see a repeat of i305.

About being 300 feet tall:
I don't want a 300 coaster. Would it be interesting? Yes, very, but I don't see a reason for it. On the other hand, I also don't believe that the park would lie to all of it's new employees. Basically I still believe that they could build a giga coaster, and I believe that they should build one because they said they would, but I probably wouldn't be a huge fan.

EDIT: Newsie, you keep saying this. May I ask for some evidence?

Lets please not start this again. I'll just be happy when construction starts because we know then all the permits we have are final.

In other news, starting next Friday (the 1st of April) I will begin putting together (and hopefully maintaining) a map of all the visible survey markers on the former Big Bad Wolf site.

Busch has filed for a standard character trademark for Verbolten!

I would really be disappointed if they stopped naming their coasters after mythical or legendary creatures. Apollos chariot, Alpengiest, Lockness Monster, Griffin, and Verboten ( which as far as what I've found has no meaning ) does not fit. After all the park's history I would hope that they didn't stop this tradition. I would prefer something like "Revenge of the Big Bad Wolf" or "Big Bad Wolf 2". It would make the original Big Bad Wolf fans happy. Or just find a completely new mythical creature.

After seeing it written out and bolded in big letters it looks good...... if that made any since at all

It's still a very lame name!

I can't wait to see the mascot (if it gets one that is). Who knows? That may be one of the "many firsts" that they said this coaster will have.

"First big BGW coaster with no mascot."

I hope it's like Tampa. Cheetaka became Cheetah Hunt...perhaps Verbolten will morph into something better? One can only hope.....
