What about the Bavarian Village? No one's mentioned it in a while... I will be so mad if the building takes the village's space:mad:! Has anyone in Festhaus Park or HH at HOS seen any of the buildings from the former DF site? It seems a Village would fit a car-themed coaster nicely!

I hate to break it to you, but the village was torn down with the Wolf. And from the looks of the plans and what I have been hearing from other members of the forums, the building will be built roughly over where the village used to stand. :(

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!:(

So sad... anyway, what do you guys think the ride's name will be? I personally think it will be Verbolten. While I would rather a mythical-creature-themed coaster, Verbolten is the only name that doesn't make "Italian Job" sound like a good coaster name (glad it changed... Italian Job... really, KD? No offense). Hahahaha:D.

I'm hoping the names in the survey were just a trick to fool some people from a more secret and better plan. Also "Verbolten" doesn't mean anything. Its not a German word, its a gibberish word meant to sound German so I have no idea what theme would be associated with that name.

All of BGW's coasters then and now have a mascot that goes with their name/theme:

LSM: The Loch Ness Monster
The Big Bad Wolf: A wolf
DrachenFire: A dragon
Alpengeist: A yeti
AC: Apollo
Griffon: A griffin

"Verbolten": :huh:

Verboten means "Forbidden," so "VerboLten" is a play-on-words. I still don't see a connection with that and the "AutoBAD" (my clever nickname for the theme), though. I hope the theme and name is a trick, like you said:rolleyes:! If it WAS the same thing, what would the mascot be a humanoid car, like in Disney/Pixar's Cars movie?
(I kid... hahahaha:D)

*shudders*

Don't get too caught up with the whole AutoBahn thing, they said the coaster will have some elements inspired by the AutoBahn, it doesn't necessarily mean it will be AutoBahn/car themed.

Come on, man. It's a pokemon

Made a few modifications to my predicted layout...

first pic: full is the full scale; I shrunk the building to a smaller size and also put a placemarker over the area I'm predicting to be where the "themed bridge" is going to be located.

second pic: zoom in on the oktoberfest overhaul site; shows the new locations of mach tower, the beer garden and close up of the queue, station, and possible "themed bridge" site. The new exit way, I believe will be similar to the original other than it having been replace with a more sturdy structure.

Third pic: My boring recreation of the "Verbolten" logo. I'm no graphic designer so its not that high quality...

I know, I was just "toying" around ideas. Does anyone think we could see another Blue coaster? I was think a darker blue/ navy blue. Red seems plausible...

Also, all the launches will be indoors. So not only will the building be small, but we've got to fit at least two launches in there.

Also, the indoor building will only be 26k sqft. By comparison, DarKastle's building is 40k sqft. In your mock up of the two buildings they look similar in size. If you keep its present size unadjusted, bbw successor's building would have to be almost half the height of DarKastle. It'll be quite cramped. I would like if the building was themed like the Curse of Novgorod from Hansa Park. Granted it's a Gerstlauer and has mine type trains...it has an awesome dark ride element at the front and at the end. The end being the massive vertical building with lift hill and drop in total darkness. :)

For the sake of BBW fans, I bet it will be red.

Carl Lum was one of the people in the room talking about the ride. If they lied, that's just shameful.

Carl wasn't in the room. He walked in said Hi and then left. The instructor for the day said that. Carl may have been in the building.

Notice Swiftman said ONE, not THE ONLY person in the room. There were multiple people talking about the new coaster, including Carl Lum

There was a room full of about 50 new hire employees and 2 trainers. One was at the front of the room speaking and another was in the back chipping in everyone in a while and doing like secretary work. All info that was spoken about it was said by a single person. One new hire asked a question about the hight and he said the previous known high restrictions were incorrect.
