But to get back on topic; let us look at the BBW station that is still there. I am wondering how that will be re-themed and used? Any guesses?

If it is a kind of "passport to adventure ride" theme, I'll take a guess and say it will be a kind of old style German Auto-Tourism kind of theme before setting off and then the ride will consist of an almost untamed, uncontrolled ride through turns and inside some sort of building (obviously). The building has me intrigued as to what the special effects are as the themeing we have heard about is really having me grasp for straws. Spooky and wild ~ I'll go with that.

I wonder what exactly the dark ride elements would be? Would they be physical props or special effects like at Darkastle? Or maybe it will be a mix of the two.

I hope they don't make us wear 3D glasses.

I'm wondering how the BBW station can be used. Since Arrow designed coaster stations to be sloped downward and no current designers employ that tactic, I wonder how much work has to be done to it. I always assumed it would be used for dark ride effects and a different station would be built.

wouldnt work out but lets think of the fun it can bring, but im gonna have to agree with nora the themeing of the station will probably be close to lemans raceway with all the parts and tools in the station.

Ok so I just thought of something. As it stands, the bbw queue is not nearly big enough for the crowds this coaster will draw. I mean look at Griffon, its queue is huge and I dont really see any way to expand it but to build up. Since the 55 ft tall bridge will go in the section right before the coaster I think they are going to add a second story to the station. This would put it roughly the same height.

I'm not sure how they would be able to add a second floor to the Wolf's station without completely remodeling it or demolishing it. (Which they better not! :dodgy:)

When BBW first opened, they ran the queue line down the bridge towards Italy. The bridge is wide enough for the flow of people not to be hindered with a single line for the ride and it adds a lot of length to the ride line. I don't think it's not the optimum solution, but may work for peak operating times. They may find that once the newness has worn off, the exisiting queue may work fine.

I dont even know what the themed bridge is?

I did hear a rumor that the theme of the ride is a mysterious fog chasing Ludwig Von Beethoven through the Black Forest in his new BMW E89 while "wolfing down" some pretzels and Spaten Dunkel.

Sounds plausible.

This is just a link to the site posted for bidding on what is all but confirmed to be the new 2012 SWSD coaster. Not much info to be found, but it is listed as "Sea World Manta Exhibit and Ride Attraction," so the Manta theme seems to be correct. Just another Busch development to watch as we await Project Verbolten here at BGW.

later part of this season id say end of july or early august if not sooner like june because it will take a long time to errect a coaster.

I would say immediately after Memorial Day weekend. To me, it seems, they have large amount of grading to deal with....
