Yeah, you know BGW management; they go out of their way to save money while compromising safety.

They don't charge you 65 singles to put your life in danger. Please be reasonable.

If I'm not mistaking I don't think BGW Fans falls under the social network part. That is more like Facebook and Twitter.
 
What I meant is while you are allowed to post things on Facebook. You are not allowed on here.

So Ramp Jam is now over and Mach Tower's Media day is a week from Friday so who thinks construction could start at the beginning of June?

(And I dont think were not allowed to post on here, we just have to be cautious with what we say and use judgement)
 
I've read what you had to sign. It states that you must receive permission directly form your supervisor before posting to online forums or message boards. Many people chose to do it anyway. We're not going to stop you, but you should be aware of the risk. If you wish to continue this discussion (which is actually a great one to have- it's pretty important), please start a new thread.

RIDE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Guests must be 54 inches tall to ride.
  • The maturity level of any rider must be considered prior to riding.
  • For your safety, you should ride only if you are in good health. Do not ride if you know or suspect you may be pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart, neck or back problems, sensitivity to heights and/or strobe effects, motion sickness, recent surgery, or any other medical condition that may be affected by the features of this ride.
  • Those wearing arm casts, leg casts or neck braces must not ride.
  • Guests with (an) amputated leg(s) above the knee should refer to the Guest Assistance Center to determine their ability to ride.
  • Prosthetic legs are not permitted on the ride.
  • Guests with any type of hand or arm prosthesis must ensure that it is properly secured and will remain in place during the ride. Guest must have at least one functioning hand and one functioning arm in order to ride.
  • Loose items are not permitted. Please leave them with a non-rider or place them in a locker. Busch Gardens is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
  • Please follow all posted and verbal safety instructions.
  • State law requires riders to obey all warnings and directions, and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injuring themselves or others.
  • Riders shall report all injuries before leaving the park today.

54 inch height requirement? That's a bit high for a family coaster...
 
Clearly that’s a little old. It’s now the Guest Information Center, not the Guest Assistance Center. So this might not be entirely accurate. However, if it is.... that sucks. NOT a family coaster.

Okay. Officially worried that this ride will fail to reach the niche it intends....

Hopefully it will be like Cheetah Hunt and end up lowering the height requirement.

Can anyone confirm height restrictions for Force One/Wicked? Maybe Force One/Wicked isn't the best coaster to be comparing our coaster to if the height requirements don't match....

Well the name change could have been made after this was written up which is most likely the case.
 
That was copied word for word out of the concept art. The concept art also showed a measuring station that was set for 54 inches. If that is the height requirement, I will be a bit disappointed. If it's correct, can we even call this a family coaster anymore?

Wicked = 50in

I can't find Force One's....(didn't really look that hard, but I can't imagine it's more than Wicked)


Hmmm......could we possibly expect something completely new from Zierer or is Busch just being overly cautious?

It's way too high to be labeled a family coaster. That would give it "extreme thrill ride" status.

I'll be really shocked if this is the height requirement for the new ride. The park's largest coaster only has a 52-inch height requirement. That would be just to bizarre if they don't match BBW's height requirement especially since the park is still touting it as a future family attraction.

Thirteen is only 48in.

Was thinking that with a dropping track style a higher height would be neccesary....apparently not....this is throwing me

/I feel like Swiftman throws us a new piece of info everytime the forum goes off topic....maybe we should do that more often....:p
 
Just throwing this out there. Even though the plans say 54 in. Could it be that the rules were just copy and pasted over from a Griffon document as an example of basic ride safety guidelines?
