JT is right, if you look at the restraint design it clearly swings down from above.

On a more serious note, the new restraint looks wonderful. Wonder if there’s any chance it makes it’s way onto inverting models so we can ditch the vests and enjoy a little more airtime.
No way B&M puts these on anything besides their family Coasters.

watching a live of the tour and there will be 4 different Phoenix’s for the station windows/screens and slightly different audio effects. Fire, jungle, ice, and water. They’ll be changed randomly each cycle.
not to thread highjack but if this is an indicator of a potential method for the theming for the BBW/ Holzfaler at BGW wolves running/prowling would be awesome!

Looks like the seats will be swinging after all! Maybe there's hope for BGW's next coaster if this is the case.

IDK who told them that but they very much wont, I've heard it personally from one of the individuals handling the project that I have no reason to not trust.

Fascinating development here... A true source-off! I have no reason to doubt the literal Design & Engineering team saying it will... in any case, if at all, I'm almost 100% positive it would have extreme dampening and only be able to 'swing' less than a foot in each direction, like the Vekoma family inverts do. I see no situation where those high-banked, almost stall-like turns on this ride would work with a perfectly free-swinging train.

These new restraints, and possibility of (likely very slightly) swinging vehicles, definitely improves my hopes of Holzfaller though. Very interesting!

Based on the off-ride rendering released today and the existing design of B&M family coasters, I remain extremely skeptical that the seats are "swinging." I'll believe it when we actually see it. I think someone from D&E is gonna have a foot in their mouth over that wording.

Is there another off ride render other than this post below? You can see if you pause it, they clearly modeled the new restraints and the seats are clearly bolted in place like the other family inverts. There's also no way that trench works with any meaningful sway. On the other hand, I will gladly take any bets from anyone who still thinks it will swing.

I'm thinking maybe coaster101 was talking to some marketing folks on the tour and assumed they were engineering?

Much as I'd love for my fanboy fantasy of BGW 2025 swinging to come true, I'm inclined to believe GoHokies87 and that it's a rigid mount or the barely-swinging that Vekoma's family inverts do. Those look to be pretty tight clearances with the theming elements - and especially the plans for BGW 2025's landscaping.

EDIT TO ADD: I saw a quote in that comment thread: "[Vekoma's slightly swinging trains swing] enough to compensate for the differences in forces throughout the length of the train to eliminate vibration and uncomfortable lateral jolts. That’s all it’s for, and it’s a very good thing." Yeah, this is what I'll expect if these actually swing.

Just noticed something

Kumba is missing in the pov while every other major attraction is there
Cheetah Hunt isn’t there either FWIW. I think this was more than likely just them getting a bit lazy with the animation

Also from the off-ride promo BGT posted you can see Kumba’s dive loop in the background here:

Here are highlights from Midway Mayhem's hard hat tour video:

It was reviled that the train will have on board lighting along with the onboard audio, which will change depending on what Phoenix is selected.

Nick from the corporate development team talked about the elements that will be in the queue, including props and artifacts that will be depictions of Phoenixes in different cultural styles. The queue will also have the identity banners that can be seen on the concept art.

I'm too lazy to watch. Is swinging addressed? I really want to see the swinging question asked and see BGT answer it.
