And Last but not least another permit for the  bus shelter
B-140329

Just an update on the bus shelter - I am honestly trying to figure out where/what this is referring to. There is the bus stop just on Rte. 60 which looks to be completely untouched, and then there is the large bus shelter in the England parking lot that appears to be getting some work done to it. So honestly, I am not sure what the permits refer to, whether it be the actual stop off of Rte. 60 or in the England lot. I will say though the permits seem very likely to be for the stop off of Rte. 60 and if that is the case, any ideas on when we can expect to see any work done?

I researched this and using Google Maps found the bus stop on rt 60 just after BG Blvd. I figure they will put in a sidewalk so you can roll a wheelchair past the grass. A sidewalk can be done quick so why rush.

Well it is not just a sidewalk, WATA is also planning on adding a bus shelter, while the park is constructing a sidewalk. Yes these things can be done quick, but I would assume the park would put the sidewalk in when WATA gets their bus shelter built, which I would assume they would go ahead a do it any day now being that the permit was filled much, much earlier in the year and permits do expire after a certain time period of not being used.

Plus, it is very late considering they want to be completely done with all the LOD renovations by the 22nd at least. Also, they said in the article posted in the LOD thread that work had already begun. And, it says on the permit that no state inspections had been done for the project which is required in order for them to start construction, so I strongly don't think that this permit is for anything having to do with LOD renovations.

Just saying, with the Festa Italia attraction, any chance they might move some of the rides in Festa around? Moving the rides is good cause for a permit. Keep in mind it also says 'rides' as in more than just one ride. Also, with the county having two permit sites, sometimes we see a new permit pop up in one that is for an older permit in the other.

EDIT: Will add this to the list soon as I can.

Everyone is excited about the New France bathrooms right? Well don't get your hopes too high when you want to use them during the first few weeks. The bathrooms are still under heavy construction and aren't expected to open until April. One of the newest features will be a Breastfeeding room for nursing mothers. Something that has been requested for by a handful of guests on Facebook.
