Carowinds is my pick for an Arie Force relocation. I just visited the park twice last week and had a great time! Their top 4 coasters; Fury, Thunder Striker, Afterburn and Copperhead are elite. Having a fifth coaster in that category would do the park so well... better than Great Adventure or Kings Island IMO. Great Adventure has enough thrill coasters at this point and should focus its efforts on the family variety. Kings Island has a very well rounded coaster line up currently and should focus its efforts on a standout custom coaster that is not relocated.

Several years ago I shared that Pantheon was going to have a Christmas Tree on the top hat (may have been on another login). This was also before the ride was completed and clearly before COVID.

I also had the official POV of Pantheon before it was leaked - “KT” is a clue for that.

I don’t comment on here often, but I am telling you now, there will be signs coming that AF1 will be in NC.

I think it's the worst possible model for "urban development" and Mecklenburg County is the most placeless suburban wasteland I have ever spent time in. A sad maze of cul-de-sac-riddled subdivisions with almost no redeemingly pleasant environments. One time I asked a friend who lived there to give me a tour while I was staying with him. He offered to take me around the 485

Ultimately I think Charlotte is for the people from the northeast who voluntarily vacation in Nashville. It's for quirky girls who love to tell you about how much they love pickles. It's for aging former college club team athletes about to embark on the journey of steeping in the ennui of detached fatherhood and golf. It's for Jeni's Ice Cream lovers and people who listen to Stella Lefty or Maren Morris. That's not to say that any of that is inherently dislikable (some of it is), just that when I have to listen to anyone pretending it's better than literally anywhere else it makes me question their judgement. The proper emotional response to Charlotte is synthetic Krabby Patty

Fun Spot America to auction equipment and assets from its Atlanta park on October 14, 2026

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — Fun Spot America Theme Parks today announced that equipment and assets from its Atlanta park will be offered at auction on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The park, located at 1675 Highway 85 North, Fayetteville, Georgia, permanently closed to guests on August 2, 2026.

The auction will offer a wide range of amusement park assets, including rides, games, F&B equipment, maintenance equipment and tools, furnishings and much more. Items, descriptions, quantities, condition and availability will be set out in the official auction catalog, which will be published in advance of the sale date.

Bidding will be conducted online only. Items may be viewed in person at the Fayetteville site by appointment in advance of the sale.

I don't think we're likely to hear anything more about it this year. It's all in Six Flags' hands now and they have no reason to interrupt their typical park-level marketing plans with the announcement of a ride that isn't opening until 2028 at the earliest.

Ok I just realized something. How similar to keeping the Arieforce name will be to having the intimidator name where the Arie family raises the price eventually and they can’t keep the license? Maybe not, but possible?
