Yeah, but that would only need to be done three times a year in the "cycle out a third train for yearly maintenance" setup @warfelg. Totally reasonable.

Also, doubling up on a single storage run isn't optimal, but it is done sometimes. Especially if the deepest train is just in for yearly maintenance (and, hence, the trains rarely needs to be reshuffled), again, shouldn't be an issue.
Personally I rather see the bay extended than a complete separate spot created. (Or just kill year round operations).

Building something in pantheons infield just for this seems like a big waste of resources.

My end point here is every option has drawbacks and it should have been designed to work with three trains from the start.

And FWIW - I personally feel every coaster should be sold with one more train and storage for said train than it would be using regularly. Need to prepare for the unexpected downtimes too like sensor faults, wheels breaking, etc.

You can add theming to the building or design and let it flow with whatever theming they plan on adding to pantheon, hopefully.

Forgive me if this has already been asked here, but let’s assume 2028 is the Pantheon revamp: how would you add theming given a Nessie/Bolt budget?

Here would be my adds:
- Add the San Marco bridge over the first launch, as well as the planned plaza. Makes the area less of a dead end, adds an interactive path, and significant theming.
- Enclose part of the launch in some capacity. Thinking something along the lines of the Werewolf coaster at Epic Universe, but maybe more open-air.
- Complete station enclosure, complete with real columns, dim lighting, and a dispatch sequence. Have the queue immediately leading up to the station enclosed as well.
- Significant landscaping investment, Italian cypress trees everywhere
- Prep the land in the middle of the layout for future expansion. That’s a prime plot of land.
- Find a spot to add a food stand and small flat ride, so you can market the addition as a new area rather than just a “new” ride that everyone remembers opening 7 years ago
- Remove the height limit for riders. This addition is completely free, btw (take the hint if you’re reading this, BGW execs). I would love for my first Pantheon ride to be after its glow up

It’s in the hands of BGW whether or not to enforce it. Taron doesn’t have one, neither does Velocicoaster. They both have rules that if your entire head is above the seat back, you can’t ride. Both times I’ve been to Phantasialand I’ve gotten 5+ rides on Taron, and I’m 4 inches above Pantheon’s height limit. Exact same trains and Taron has some ludicrously tight envelopes

It’s unfortunately a liability thing for BGW that Universal is willing to take on with their boatload of money and much better-trained staff.

Not likely anyone would have the proof, but I wonder how much liability insurance and past issues would play into that strict of an adherence to the rule.

Hey all: I’m not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but I’ve noticed Pantheon has been closed on queue-times.com lately.

Is it set to be closed this whole weekend (Memorial Day)? Same question re: BBW. It’s also listed as closed currently. Is queue-times pulling innaccurate data?

Don't believe anything queuetimes says for United Parks. United's park apps BLOW. They are so awful that I feel that the company had to use R&D resources to get them to that poor of a state. Just assume things are open even when said closed, for most rides at BGW and BGT. Newer rides statuses are almost never included in the apps for the United parks, and queuetimes draws info straight from the app.

Grabbed quite a few rides on Pantheon last week. It's already got a shimmy to it, which isn't what you want on such a new coaster, but it's still a great ride!

Random thought, but has Pantheon been facing less downtime? I feel like I’ve been hearing about it less and less.

I don't believe that it was ever closed during my weekday visits. Ops and reliability were decent throughout the park, except for Tempesto opening late.
