Anyone know when Pantheon might be back? Confirmed they’re waiting on parts… intamin USA hq is only 3.5 hours away so hopefully back up by this weekend? lol I’m coming for the first time this season so just trying to be optimistic.

Makes me happier knowing it was down for parts and not just the park not opening due to crowd levels.

They would never keep a ride like pantheon closed for just low crowds. Tempesto yes but it was open yesterday and were in full season summer. Anything closed would have a reason

Damn, I am visiting the park on June 18th, I hope Pantheon will be open. Is Pantheon still having inconsistencies being open regularly when it isn't waiting for a part?

It's pretty reliable this time of the year when it's not actually broken. It might be down but they will get it re open pretty quickly

Anybody know of a possible refurb like for Loch Ness monster to help with the themeing of this ride? It would be nice knowing its potential with Mr velocicoaster.
It is unrealistic to ever expect Pantheon to have theaming in anyway comparable to Velocicoster. Pantheon's twin, Toutatis is a much better benchmark to what the theaming could look like, as Park Astèrix is in the class of parks as Busch Gardens.
I would be ecstatic if Pantheon could get even a quarter of the theaming that Toutatis has.

I’ve said it once I’ll continue to say it a million times, Pantheon is not the issue, it fits in perfectly with Festa Italia which has always looked like fun spot compared to the rest of the park. The real solution should be a complete re-theme of Festa or an extension of San Marco. I think it would be weird to have one well themed ride in an area of fun spot aesthetic attractions.

People are going to ride pantheon regardless and its nit old enough yet to deem a remarket to get more riders up. Use that 10/15 million somewhere else. Would it be nice for it tohave more theming? Sure but Its so bare and open it it would take so much money just to make it look like there was an attempt

I wouldn't compare the theming Toutatis has to what Pantheon could have. Toutatis was part of a planned 7-acre expansion (called Festival Toutatis) to the Gaul area of the park that also includes a children's play area (Sanglier D'or) and a Nebulaz (Gyrofolix). All three attractions are heavily integrated around the main pathway of this new section.

And with Asterix being close to Disneyland Paris, they need to stay competitive and up their level of theming whenever they build something new.

Alpie should be the benchmark for perfect BGW theming/presentation on a coaster in my opinion. Beautiful setting, thoughtful placement, natural landscape retention, a really pleasant, aesthetically pleasing entry area and queue, signage, minor prop work, and maybe a queue video with some lore, an architecturally-relevant station, a ride with theme and setting considered from the very inception, and, ideally, a little bonus to make it feel particularly special somewhere—in Alpie's case, the snowy rockwork at the end of the course. If BGW aimed for Alpie each time they built a coaster, we'd be golden.

For sure I ageee it’s not going to be velocicoaster. My idea was for there to be a better effort more so in the queue and first launch, and in board audio. That’s how I’d approach this coaster with a smaller budget. The onboard audio would require new trains Ofcourse so I understand maybe not that, but a better more properly themed entrance and queue and a themed start like some sort of sequence that then goes, boom and shoots you off would really improve the ride and onboard audio would be the cherry on top but I’m sure they would not be willing to renew such new trains for that. The rest I think is realistic especially if they can put some money into the surrounding land to and uplift the whole area together to a newer feeling no?

Pop goes the cellphone
(Cant believe I managed to video this)
Deserved. I hope everyone that brings their phone on rides gets their phone brutally destroyed. Main reason I had zero sympathy for the banshee incident. I remember on racer 75 last year this guy in front of me was on his phone and I was tempted to take it, break it in half and throw it in the trees.
