I agree with @madmax actually. Pantheon is very re-ridable and comfortable. If I had the option to marathon any coaster I absolutely would opt for Pantheon before a lot of roller coasters. Granted I’d pick VelociCoaster first but we don’t have to talk about that.

I’d have to put Apollo and arguably Griffon in that conversation as well. BGW actually has a lot of comfortable re-rideable coasters.

I would disagree with verbolten since it gets a little rough after the drop. I would say Apollo, Griffon and Pantheon are the most re-ridable.

I honestly find Griffon to have quite the rattle sometimes, and I don’t find bolt rough after the drop but definitely out of the station. Pantheon is smooth all the way through tho. In terms of statistics, neither are very reridable due to popularity, Apollo and Alp are probably the easiest to get on at any time due to capacity and general disinterest. Apollo however is smooth but kinda boring, and Alpengeist can be very rough. Shame Alpie got the worlds loudest lift fixed.

Does anyone know the wind speed that shuts Pantheon down? I’m here today wind speeds are forecast at 12mph all day and the ride is closed for wind.

something like 20 mph sustained and a 30 ish gust will close it unless they changed the limit from last year.

It’s the gusts that will shut it down. If memory serves me right, the same gusts that shut down Skyride (20mph+) also shut down pantheon. Not sure though.

Be careful grabbing onto the umbrella as you swing around the exit ramp leaving Pantheon.

I broke it on accident this evening while using it as as leverage coming down the ramp. When I arrived at my front row seat to reride I was accused of maliciously breaking the umbrella and asked to get off the ride.

This led to chain of events you couldn’t imagine. The “area manager” was wearing a fake name badge. I was cut in-line by a girl and her friends, I called them out and they told moved to row 2.

When they saw me get removed for accidentally breaking the umblella, they filed a false report claiming I touched them.

While discussing the umbrella with security they asked me if I had an incident with some kids in line

I waited for police and informed the officer that they cut me in line and I called them out, never touched them. After 15 minutes or so, Security escorted me to my car.

Long story short, be careful grabbing the umbrellas while leaving Pantheon or you could risk being falsely accused of touching a child and held 45 minutes after park closing.

You can’t make this shit up. Lol Griffon crew was on fire, but I’m about to avoid Pantheon like the plague. No joke this all happened on the day I renewed my pass.

Did they paint those themselves or did they come pre-painted? I’ve had some of the pre-painted ones installed in a park and they got like that quickly.

And not something you touched on - but a different color umbrella doesn’t bother me, as long as it’s short term. It’s early spring and patio stuff goes backordered very fast.

no offense, but why would you rely on a cheap aluminum umbrella post for leverage instead of the metal handrail provided for walking assistance?
