I just hope they fix the sensor issues while the ride is down. I'm by no means a small fella, but I'm not huge either (6'1" 210) & they almost made me do the walk of shame this year. This was also on my 8th ride of the season where I never had that issue prior.

Still not quite sure what you are talking about but I am guessing it's one of these two areas. The one I circled in blue is staying because it served a duel roll of insuring that no vehicle drives up the access road and into a guest occupied plaza by accident as well as keeping guest away from the backstage off limits area behind Marco Polo. The one in red predates Pantheon and will stay because it blocks both access and view from guest of that backstage area.
The one in red was the one I was talking about. I thought it was put up with pantheon. Thanks for letting me know though

They should put speakers along the launch track to cover up the LSM screech, making sounds of thunder. A rumble for the first pass, a crackle for the second pass, and a strike for the third pass. Pretty simple and would go a long way towards making this feel themed and not just plopped.

Pantheon's trains have been completely removed from the tracks for maintenance. Hopefully this includes significant restaint censor work.

There is plenty of theming that could have done fairly easily. The Statues that you mention actually sound awesome for the station or queue.
Just a few toppled over roman style columns in the open grass area in the center of the ride would have been a nice touch that would cost barely anything.

The queue line literally looks like the easement of my townhome right now.
just take pompeii's theming lmao

I'm not that far off of you (6'1, 194 lbs.) Seeing this gets me kinda nervous, not gonna lie.

It's not an us problem. There is something wrong with the certain seats on the ride. I'm now down to 200 (hope to be under 190 by the summer), but I hope they fix it for the folks who really are borderline. Certain members of the staff are well aware of the issue because they'll move people to another seat on the next train instead of making them do the WoS. I on the other hand was dealing with someone who I think was a newer person at the end of the season & he started the "unfortunately you're outside the limits of the ride" line & I said try it again. On the 3rd attempt I guess I got the green light.

Wow. first of all, congrats on trying to lose some weight! I've been trying to do that too to mixed success, then again, high school cafeteria food isn't exactly the most nutritious thing in the world. 🤣

Thanks! I was at one point 550+ pounds so you'll be fine. I was about to turn 40 & figured if I wanted to see 50 I had to change something. I also wanted to ride coasters again. Diet & exercise made it possible to finally ride again last summer & it was incredible. First time since 1997 since I swore off going to amusement parks after being forced to do the WoS on Shockwave at KD.

Funnily enough (or sadly enough, depending on your point of view), BGW really did do this. Those column ruins in the flower bed near Pantheon’s entrance were literally stolen from Pompeii and trucked over to Pantheon.
I’m pretty sure they were took from Roman rapids

Once my restraint was pushed down by an attendant, with no pull back up at all, and the indicator changed from green to red. Of course my body was pushing up, but still I don't think that's supposed to be physically possible.

Just means that the prox was on the edge of reading. Personally, I'd really like to take a look at these sensors and try to figure why they keep causing so many false negatives.

I'm still trying to figure out when it's going to open back. They really can't get their story straight. It's "Closed for the Season" - so March 21 opening? or is it what the information page says - "One of the world’s most anticipated coasters of 2022 is now open in the park’s Festa Italia village" and they've sped it up so much we can't even tell it's running?

Any ideas on what this might be about?
