The test seat is inaccurate and the restraint sensors vary considerably due, in large part, to the disparate give in the restraints.

Per an Intamin rep, if the restraint clears in the resting position, it's good to go. Despite this, BGW insists on training their employees to yank aggressively on the restraints and, if they can get it to flash red, then they boot the rider.

You can't blame the riders for the restraints being inconsistent and the park's policies being asinine.
Oh yea my bad. I forgot about the test seat not being correct. The back of the train is mlre unforgiving than the front half for some reason

Hi there,
I am flying over from Germany to the US in mid June.
Queue-times.com is reporting that Pantheon had a very bad uptime percentage during the last few days and currently does not show any wait time right now.
Can anybody confirm if the ride has been down as of lately and if the data on Queue-times.com is accurate?
Thanks guys.

What @CoasterAuditor said exactly.

BGW's in-park posted wait times have always been a joke and rarely are those even correctly reflected on the app.

Broadly speaking, Pantheon is fairly reliable and it's pretty rare that it'll be down for extended periods during any given day. The only big exception to that is if it's windy. Pantheon is deathly allergic to wind. If there's wind in the forecast, be concerned. Otherwise, baring any unexpected, significant issues, you should be fine.

Doesn’t appear to have been reported, but there are some new “leather” headrest covers on this, verbolten, alpengeist, and possibly others. Unless I just don’t remember them. IMG_7063.jpeg IMG_7064.jpeg

All of the handwritten signs at BGW look terrible and have no place in a park that calls itself the world’s most beautiful theme park. This is a hill I will die on.
I think handwritten signs are a necessary evil at times, but why it seems that the person with the worst handwriting always does it and try’s to get “artsy” with it is annoying.

BGW is the only park I’ve been to that relies on handwritten signs like this — and BGW certainly has more money and resources than many smaller parks that have figured out how to communicate written messages more professionally. I totally disagree that they’re a necessary evil. They have a sign shop and printers.

I don’t disagree that they could be more professional. But having a wife that came out of college working a sign shop - that takes sometimes 1-2 hours. So makes them a necessary evil for short term solutions.

Reality the best solution is TVs that show some safety information that someone just needs to type into a deck the message and post it in there. That’s how you eliminate the need of any hand written sign and don’t need to wait for a print shop.
