Alpie and griffon i agree with. Pantheons airtime makes for sore thighs and headaches after 2 or 3 re rides
I deal with chronic headaches that often restrict my coaster riding. Pantheon's backward launch gave me issues when I first rode it but I've found a workaround that completely resolved my issues.

When going through the backward launch, I press up into the restraint (as if I'm trying to stand up...obviously, I can't, it just creates pressure against the restraint). This completely softens the jolt of the airtime hill and I no longer have any issues with it.

If only I could find a similar solution for Alpie. ☹️

Let’s assume Pantheon looks no different than the worst themed hamlet at BGW. How is that relevant to whether Pantheon independently needs upgrades and theming? Other things being bad doesn’t justify a decision to turn a big, new, headliner attraction into coaster in a cow field with a janky station and trashy queue.

The problem is that they did nothing to the field to improve the surroundings. It needs plantings, music, decor, storytelling, audio-atmospherics, etc. And Apollo does have more of all of those things than Pantheon (not that it really matters). It also has a large, covered queue.

BGW is a theme park. Its attractions, especially its huge, headliner projects, should be themed. Somehow new additions a KD, an amusement park, are more immersive.

I would love for BGW to construct the planned bridge from San Marco and make Pantheon part of loop between the two Italy hamlets. Pantheon should be part of San Marco, not Festa, and the theming should reflect that. Add a proper plaza with more viewing areas, a station that doesn’t look temporary, and some small trees and shrubbery through the course and we’re golden. (Then remove the 6’4” max height requirement lol)

Unfortunately, I don’t think BGW has control over the max height. I think that comes from Intamin

This just sounds like a safety hazard. The max heights are just like the height limits, it's there to keep you safe
They’re there for insurance purposes. Taron doesn’t have one at all and there are plenty of clearances on it just as close if not closer than Pantheon. It’s literally just about how much liability the park is willing to take on. Either way, no clearances on ANY modern coaster are close enough for me to hit my hand/head with the 2-3 inch difference my arms and torso have over the average person. The only safety issue is potential whiplash, but there are plenty of people under the height limit whose heads poke above the seat. Trust me I’ve done my research on this lol. The buck stops with the parks and the policies change all the time.

Forgive me for being a bit upset I have to miss out on a world class coaster at my favorite park bc of insurance/liability. I’m done talking about this, and I hope BGW changes the policy. Sorry to the mods for continually bringing this up haha
