I don’t understand why TT took away the zippered pouches that were literally attached to the seats.

On a side note, I had to go through the object thing three times the last time I was there. I had two zip pockets and a fanny pack and the last time the guy made me go back again because I forgot I had a tissue in my pocket.

On a side note, the first time I ever rode Great Bear at Hershey I spent the entire ride holding my buttoned cargo pocket because my phone, my cousin’s phone, and my wallet were all sliding out.

They went away cause people kept lying about putting every thing in or forgetting about zipping them up and phones kept flying. The straw that broke the camel's back was when the one flew and hit a woman in the face giving her a concussion and other serious injuries. Woman injured by flying cell phone on roller coaster

The fact that you just you tried to hold secure phones un your pocket and still had to ride the whole ride on Great Bear holding on cause they were slipping out shows why this is an issue.

Yeah I made the executive decision that day that I wouldn’t hold anything in pockets that didn’t have zippers.

Speaking of which, very glad Busch installed the mini crate things because as we were getting on Pantheon we noticed that the tiny zipper on our fannypack was a little broken.

They removed the pouches on Timbers because Kings Dominion added metal detectors and free lockers instead. Huge improvement in my opinion and I, too, would love to see BGW figure out how to implement the same at Pantheon.
They weren’t enforcing the no bag rule in the queue yesterday (none of the rides were outside of Alpengeist) so I just got to put my stuff in the side bin

We ran into some slow ops the last few times because of this. Someone had to go all the way across Griffon just to put their bag on the other side.

Those ride entry positions also helped check the height rule. We had noticed on multiple coasters including Pantheon that they had to pull kids off to do height checks. That was slowing down ops as well

Six flags Great Adventure had someone on the rides platform roll a height stick down the rows while you waited to ride and would check anybody they didn't think was tall enough. It seemed better then staffing an extra person at the entrance.

I'm not sure what you meant, but that comment comes across as, "I don't mind inconveniencing everyone else by extending their wait times, because I don't like lockers." Additionally, while one person may only "slightly [affect] dispatch times," if several people slow the process down, it adds up and creates huge delays.

Also, this thread has veered off topic.

Got my first ride in on Pantheon on Sunday. I have to say, it has some kick! In my opinion, it as a ride fits nicely at the park. Definitely the highest thrill there and brings BGW a ride closer in thrill level to some RMC's and other Intamins. For BGW's first Intamin coaster, I say they picked a good one. On the other hand, the theming sucks. No story, no connection between the ride and the theme spelled out in the queue. Busch has never had Disney-level story in their older coasters, but at least had something like the theme spelled out. Apollo was supposed to be an out of control flying chariot. Alpie is a Ski-lift taken over by a monster. Griffon is like riding a diving mythical beast. LNM is searching for the monster. Pantheon is... fun/fast/thrilling... like what? I don't know what they could have done better in that department, but they should have tried... On second thought, after seeing them try on DK, I'm ok with no themeing lol.

Finally got to ride this for the first time yesterday and I will say it's an absolute winner, every train that returned to the station had very positive reactions. The backwards launch over the bunny hill to the spike is nothing that I've ever experienced before. I definitely wish it had more theming to it but at least the ride delivers. I am surprised to see how small of a queue line it has. I know it sounds weird but I always appreciate a good queue line, it adds to the experience in my opinion. Not to mention I'd hate to see how that's handled on busy days. Thankfully the park wasn't crowded and the longest wait I saw was 10 minutes.

One of the biggest complaints I see on here is that this ride has no theming, and while I definitely do agree, I wanna ask, how is that really different from the other coasters at BGW? With the exception of Verbolten and Darkoaster none of the coasters really have that much. Apollo, Griffon, Nessie, and Tempesto have basically none. And Alpie and Invadr have minimal at best.
