As if the bunny trail wasn't enough.

Is this brought to you in part by thou who should not be named, or the Landscaping department?

Because if it's the landscaping department, then that means we have two departments going rogue, and thinking they can do whatever they want. Then we have another department who doesn't even do their job, and another one who doesn't care about what they put out anymore. And finally we have a department who's doing "not bad."

Things aren't looking so great right now...

Yea they may, but they don't fit in with anything else in the area, and the Easter Egg hunt is one day! Why do they need to ruin an area for months, for an event that will take no more than a couple hours?!

Well, it's not "months" it would be 1 month(if that is why they are using them) and just because the event is one day, doesn't mean they shouldn't advertise in advance of it(you know, just like department stores put out Christmas stuff in October) Also, stuff like that can be difficult to add to the landscaping, it takes time. It's much easier to remove than to insert.

I can't wait....I didn't get to see them last year, but I can't think of anything more awesome than a snail with a mustache!

They saw the ecstatic public response when a neighbor announced anthropomorphic mushrooms that sing, so I guess they figured this was a market they should capitalize on. :p

Zachary, you need to share this on Twitter, Facebook, and everything else. Someone needs to post it to the park's site, and when they delete it, keep re-posting it. Oh, and send it to corporate!!! This is the best video ever made!! Go now, go!!

Give that snail a cigar, a piano carved out of a stump, and GAME ON!

And those anthropomorphic mushrooms became a park icon. Careful, you might end up with a snail becoming the next park icon. ;-)

Given how the majority of folks here feel about the snail, I am surprised you guys have not swapped out the dragon on the St. Micheal statue with the pink slug. (While a swarm of mooning fireflies swirl around St. Micheal like angry hornets). I'll pay to come down there and see that!

My only hope here is that they at least give the ants lederhosen. That is something I would pay to see. :p

The mushrooms have charm and a old style of amusement park era when things seemed geared for family fun. I love little animatronic figures. Like the little elf in Rhinefeld that is sawing a log where the fountain is near the candy shop during Christmas Town. Something about that makes me smile every time. The snails and garden critters are so over sized they are scary. I think had you reduced the scale and left them as cute accents around the park- they would have been less on an annoyance.

Most of the Illuminights bugs are consolidated to the Bunny Trail, except for of course the butterflies. They actually fit in somewhat with the bunny trail decorations, so atleast we know they'll be gone after Easter.
