New France already has an E-ticket ride. Oktoberfest has 3 with two of them right across the path from each other.

No reason to limit the number of E-tickets in an area.

- Ireland is a perfect spot for a nice wooden coaster. Its just as good as Pompeii's area

Italy is pretty disjointed as it is. I don't think that a wooden coaster matches up with any of its themes. New France on the other hand... You could even have the coaster running throughout the hamlet and it would make sense

Problem with sticking one in New France is the area is completely landlocked with no room to expand. You have maintenance areas behind the train, gift shops in the middle, and the area is bordered by Alpengeist and Griffon. The only way you could fit a coaster back there is if you took the flume out.

Just because its the edge of the park doesn't mean there is space. All behind the scrambler is backstage areas necessary for daily operations plus employee parking and park offices.

Hmm, New France is the only hamlet where I can see a wooden coaster making sense.

How about a green flying coaster in Ireland.

Ireland has a chunk of space behind EITA where you could fit a solid coaster. I'd say a super-hybrid or a wooden coaster would fit real well back there.

Italy's got space too, plus Zach's Vulcanus project (volcano-themed wooden coaster, fire+wood combination similar to Magic Mountain's Terminator) would work real well in that area.

You could pretty much theme a wooden coaster to anything just like you can with a steel coaster.

Doesn't seem like something BGW would do. Their rides are usually pretty fresh and have some kind of firsts. There's already so many wooden coasters.

I think a stand up coaster would be awesome

Nobody's built a stand up coaster since 1999 outside of Great Adventure's Green Lantern coaster and that was bought used. Plus Kings Dominion already has one of those.

With the likes of rides like El Toro, Outlaw Run, and Hades 360, plus RMC's Iron Horse projects (Iron Rattler, Texas Giant), its pretty clear you can do a LOT with a wooden coaster nowadays than ever before.

Wooden launch coaster?

This would be amazing if possible, but BGW just got their launch coaster

KDs standup ride is 30 seconds long and pretty bad, BGW could do the first, good stand up coaster, maybe the tallest as well, but it's just a suggestion.

A wooden coaster isn't going to bring in crowds and probably won't advertise very well unless it has some kind of new and exciting element (bigger than an inversion)

I think that the GP sees wooden coasters as a thing of the past and would rather have a new modern thrill ride.

Just my opinion.

Of particular note GCI and GG have confirmed they are able to make a launching wooden coaster, just no one has asked yet.

I feel like it would be bumpy enough to give you a concussion.

Have they figured out a way to make a wooden coaster as smooth as steel ones?

Haha this came up on my search for new coaster ideas.

I feel like it might kill you...

Also B&M have come up with a coaster like X2, except that the seats don't spin.

Prefabricated wood, ala Intamin. Gravity Group and GCI are pretty renowned for having acceptably rough roller coasters, as in you can continuously reride them without much issue.
