O! I totally forgot about this thread. Yes, the new stage is rather phenomenal. I can't wait to see it in action.

Wow, big changes to the stage since I last visited! The stage now takes up most of the lower level (where seating used to be). It brings the performers much closer to the audience than when I last visited. It is also a nice touch to have regular bench seating for those who want to watch the show and are not eating. I assume that frees up tables for those who are eating while the show is being performed.

I noticed they uncovered the fountains, anyone know if they plan on using those again? I thought they added to the atmosphere when there wasn't a show playing.

I always loved those big spitting fountains as a kid. For me... fountains in Italy go together like spaghetti and carbonara sauce.

By the way~ Sorry to change topics, but all the money thrown into the fountains are collected and donated to Seaworld Conservation Fund. :)

I saw Mix it Up at 6:00 tonight where it played to a total of 35 people. The show seemed mostly the same as last year's with the addition of some eye-catching red flags that replaced the gold (I think). I noticed the picnic table seating was gone. We couldn't figure out if the old bench area was now occupying the picnic table area or if they replaced the picnic table area with the same tables and chairs elsewhere in the theatre. We also noticed that during the 'Sweet' medley that the enormous heart-shaped chocolate box prop was enscribed 'Gasparich Fine Chocolates'. In any case, we enjoyed the show.

I was looking at Entwined, it appears Entwined has stolen some props from Mix It Up, such as the "zuppa" pot and some rather large silver colored plasticwear.

Walked by the eatery yesterday and noticed all the signs were changed from "Mix it Up" to "Italian Ensamble". Anyone have any info on what's up with the new change or whether or not it's a permanent one?

There were a few musicians on stage cranking out tunes. They played really well, but I didn't stop to check it out since I was in a hurry.

This sounds like a fill-in show for Mix It Up. Might they have more than just Mix It Up on the stage this year?...They really should. Did Mix It Up perform every day last year, or did it have any regular days off during the summer?...I don't recall.

At the park now. They've added some strange shop facades to either side of the stage. Not sure how I feel about them. I'll try to get pictures tomorrow when I come back (don't have a real camera on me right now).

Zachary is correct. Pieces of the More Pet Shenanigans set seem to have mistakenly been set up in the San Marco theater. Looks awful.
