RE: Minor Changes

New electronic device charging lockers have been added to BGW and WCUSA. Each park has different one but they work very similarly.

The ones at BGW are located near Griffon's exit and just in front of the Festhaus. The ones at WCUSA are located at the lockers in front of Jet Screams entrance.

At BGW, you insert your credit card, enter a PIN number that will act as a key, open the locker and plug your phone or device up. It is $3 per two hours of charging/storage. Honestly, that is not a bad price if you are just trying to charge your phone for an hour. When finished, you enter your PIN number to unlock your locker and retrieve your phone.

At WCUSA, you follow the instructions on a touch screen kiosk. Essentially, you select an available locker, insert your phone and plug in to charge, Close the locker, Insert your credit card, Accept the terms of payment and continue onward. To retrieve your phone at these lockers, your credit card will work as your key. They do not have a price listed, last I checked; however, I assume they are $3 per two hours as well.

RE: Minor Changes

BGW's system sounds like a more functional idea to me. You dont have to carry your credit card around with you. You can just lock it up with your phone.

RE: Minor Changes

With either park, you still need to use a credit card to pay and for that fact alone it actually kind of ruins the cashless wristband thing they are trying to make popular.

Honestly, I like using the credit card as a key because what if I forget my PIN number? What if someone who is trying to steal my stuff guess my PIN number? Some people will use terrible PINs like 0000 or 1234, and thieves will try to prey on that. The park already has thieves who do nothing but circle the park looking in unlocked lockers to try and steal things.

RE: Minor Changes

You know, I just heard a song about that. I think it's called Bag Intruder. "He's climbing in your lockers. He's snatching yo items up. Tryin' to to take 'em, so you need to
hide your pin hide your card(2)
and lock your items 'cause they're taking everything out here."

My friend has actually developed a better version of that charging station that just uses your thumb print. Hopefully those could show up sometime in the future. Seems more secure to me.

Yes, the fingerprint system is a very efficient one. In most places at Universal Studios they have lockers that use of fingerprint system. To be honest, that is probably my favorite thing about the park.

New cups are coming if not already at the park. There is a new design; however, it is still similar. It feature thew new logo's for both BGs, WCUSA, and Adventure Island. Instead of the logos along the bottom, they are stacked on one side. One Coke bottle is picture and animals surround and face it.

RE: Minor Changes

This may be semi-important, but it's noteworthy. The Info/Welcome sign behind/beside the welcome center was removed over the week. It seems fairly odd to me, it may be because they had nothing to put on it for CT, but that seems like a weird reason, because they would eventually find something, a picture at least to put on there. I have a suspicion it might be getting replaced over the off-season, but I guess we shall see.

Info sign planter beside welcome center, and area to the side of the England Lot bridge.

RE: Minor Changes

Our Union Jack love seat has been removed (and probably burned lol). Was told it was very nasty from everyone sitting on it. Ah well... :(

Yeah, package pickup is moving there from the top of the hill of the main entrance (by stroller rentals).
