The Welcome Center is the "shop/info center" just outside the park entrance, I noted it had a new sign.

and the Bad Boys sign in Rhinefeld has been there and is not new.

I am referring to one in the Wild Reserve located in a flower bed just before crossing the train tracks to Aquitaine. It is very similar to the one in Rhinefeld, though.

Oh sorry, I read of thinking about Rhinefeld. I actually do think there was one in the Wild Reserve last year as well. I'll keep that one on the burner and try to find pictures to confirm or someone else can confirm.

^ It does. Plus, the loss of Banbury Crossing (particularly the sign) makes me sad. :(

I find it sad that they no longer theme the signs per country, and just hang up generic park logo type signs! IT MAKES ME SO MAD!

I think because the sign is technically outside of a hamlet, or outside the park is the reason it is not themed per the nearest hamlet. Technically that main gate area was themed to be part of Banbury Cross, but it is now themed more to an entrance to the park, the signs just help point that out.

I think tha from the second you get out of you car, you should be in Europe. (Hard in a parking lot, easy in a main entrance!)

Actually that box is used for wifi and internet and has been there for a few years now I believe. Also if you notice the park has been doing some testing with wifi lately. Opening weekend and the following weekend, I had a wifi connection pop up that said something Guest Wifi and then it quickly disappeared.

It used to be a 75% Off store, and technically they were supposed to stop with the discount stores, because all they really do is mark everything off as being trashed and then try to sell it dirt cheap to make some profit, but I want to say I heard corporate doesn't like that or it was against some policy or something.

It was converted into the Welcome Center last year, and it seems that tread has continue. Basically, you can buy amenities, tours, quick queue, the cashless wristband and all that jazz here. You can also buy tickets and redeem tickets. It is also a big promotion spot for special events. Snacks are still served just outside facing the exit.
