Are they the same piece? It seems like the structure around the eyes are different. If so that’s an impressive cover up!
I was a little skeptical of that too but the eyes in the Mardi Gras picture don’t look natural at all. To me it looks like a humans eyes when they have the wide open. If that makes any sense

I wouldn't assume that it means that it can't be removed to be used for Halloween we seen the park recycle props back and forth for events before it doesn't necessarily look like that one was altered in a significant enough way that it couldn't be reused in its original form.

I'm sure I could find this answer somewhere but I'm lazy, what are the hours of the two sessions?

Haven't seen anyone mention this yet. But the park changed the Saturday hours. They are just open for one 6 hour session. It doesn't matter what session you booked for. If you have a Saturday reservation then you are good to go.

^^-- that's a little disappointing (mainly that Sundays only get 4 hours total), but understandable. Cold at night.

I think that's the case as well. The cold temperatures are keeping many away especially since most of the rides are closed below 40 degrees. This event will really thrive whenever they're allowed indoor theater productions to resume. The really need a parade like Kings Dominion had 2 years ago.

I'd love to see that hourly change for the Sunday sessions too. We really want to support these events, but making a hour round trip for a 4 hour session is a tough call. Being able to pop over for the last hour or two of a night session on Saturday, and making the most of Sunday worked out well for us during the previous events.

I would love to see a Mardi Gras parade, similar to the only parade the park has ever done during Illuminights back in 2010. While that event got a lot of flack, the mini-parade was rather charming and made great use of the old Le Mans Raceway cars and definitely livened up the area even more. The main issue is I'm pretty sure that the parade was discontinued after one year because of the congestion it caused in France and New France, combine that with a virus that spreads in large groups of people, and it seems like it's not a viable option for the foreseeable future. Most of the park's terrain is either too steep or the pathways are too tight to host it somewhere else, but it would be an extremely welcomed addition to see a new parade if this event is continued in the future.

While this isn't thematically consistent, it would also be neat to see a Jack is Back! style show in Ireland. Have some sort of jester-esque character above Annie's, some stilt walkers wandering around, and green and purple confetti, and I think it would be a hit. Also, following the sacred BGW entertainment formula, if they create any sort of show with the term "Stomp" in it, that would also be a guaranteed success. I'm hoping that the park can weather the storm of this year and continue to expand this event as there is a lot of potential as it stands.

I was looking at the reservation calendar and saw a day session available Monday 2/15, what would the hours be for this I wonder?

Why the hell do they not clearly have hours listed as well, like on the same calendar? I don't get BGW sometimes man.

I’d love to hear from people who were at the park on Saturday: Which session did you go to and how were crowds? Friday felt really light to me. Sorta hoping Saturday went a little better for the park?
I was there Saturday night. Was very, very empty.

Monday the 15th is 1 to 5. All of the hours are on the park hours page, here.

Just having one 12pm – 6pm session makes much more sense. I just hope it's not a bad sign for the future of this event.
The weather for Sunday in Williamsburg in the morning is showing a 40% chance of rain so that may be contributing to why they extended the session. Walking around in the cold by itself is fine for parks, but cold rain in February is a totally different story.
