@Newsie: has it actually been confirmed? I'm being serious...has it been confirmed...cause I haven't seen anything

It says that in the Media Kit.

Also, I do like the theming, it actually looks very good.

RE: Mäch Tower

Mach Tower looks exellent! The poles around MT look just like the ones in the concept art. It does suck they couldnt have added tilting seats, that would have been an extraordinary experience..............

Honestly, I'm just imagining being a child and riding this ride. The seats @&(*&#ing shaking?! I would remember that forever.

Ah....Busch memories.....like that one magic show that scared the crap out of me.....

RE: Mäch Tower

Not trying to sound like a little girl here, but I don't know if I can mentally get on this ride. I've only ever ridden one drop tower. That 95 footer or whatever at SFAmerica. And that was a little much. I like coasters and stuff, but man, just thinking about dropping straight down 235' is scaring me a little. Also that girl's legs that got chopped off on that other drop tower a few years ago is always in my head when I think about riding drop towers.

I hate drop towers, never ridden one, never will. Even though Mach Tower looks awesome, I will enjoy it by watching it safely from the ground.

RE: Mäch Tower

I've been on four and let me tell you, the first time is terrifying. After that though, they just don't effect me anymore.

I'm having trouble imagining how the seats "vibrate." What's that supposed to mean? They shake a little? How does that add anything to the ride? Just seems odd...

RE: Mäch Tower

On BGW's blog they are holding a contest for the first ride ever on MT. You'll be able to go in Friday morning (May 27th) before the ride officially opens to the public. Just as a FYI

Also there are some "facts" about the ride (engineering wise) and it says that the ride features some "freefall elements"...what does that mean????

RE: Mäch Tower

Just another way for them to say that the ride will Free-fall or will have Free-falling parts.
