I can confirm that something is up with the lift, the belts were removed later in the Howl-O-Scream season.

Just look at the lines of it in the summer, it's longer than both Pompeii and rapids. It's not going anywhere

And has less downtime than either of them. Also, there are still a bunch of 'em running so parts must not be that big of an issue.

the Log Flume rides are my all-time favorite park rides. It would be a shame if this changed. But it sounds like things will be OK.

What they should do is replace the boats, they are hazardous, from reports, I've heard many people hurting themselves from improperly sitting in them. All that is being doen is replacing motors and such for the ride.

If you manage to hurt yourself in those boats, then that's the stupidity of the rider. I have never felt any danger, or thought anything hazardous about it. If you just sit properly than everything should be fine

But what I've heard is most guests get inside with their knees up, which may cause harm. However, if you sit properly then you'll be fine. If they were to get new boats, the rider can sit as idiotically as they want and be fine.

Either way, I'm not saying it is the park's fault, I'm just saying the park could profit slightly from getting new boats.

I don't think these "new boats" exist. All Arrow flumes have the same boats to my knowledge. Also, I have no desire to see the park stupid-proofing things.

The boats in Dudley Do-rights ripsaw falls hurt really bad. Keep the best, most comfortable log flume boats in the country. Making them have lap bars would ruin one of the best parts of the ride, the feeling of falling out, even though you won't unless your a dumbass. Splash mountain and Dudley only make up for their lap bars because of the excellent themeing. Lap bars or new boats at all would ruin a good part of the ride and would make it less re-rideable.

The only way to make someone sit properly would be to put shoulder harnesses. And that would ruin the theming big time on that ride, it's suposed to feel like you're just sitting in a log you cut a hole out in. I dont want them to change the boats. If people are to trifling to sit properly, then the chances are you will get injured

This is real off season news talk :p I wonder how the site is going to survive during the two months if we have already ran out of off season topics. Unless something big is happening this off season?

Here's an thought on how to stay busy: Help with the wiki. ;) Le Scoot's page is looking a bit, well, empty.
