Thanks for that info. I know the ride was modified, because I remember there was 10 foot dip where the second drop is now back in the late 70's.
Griffon an SheKira are not exact copies, but are can easily be mistaken for copies, since most people look at the first drop. But your right they aren't.
I would think the park removed for some specific issue.
As far as Le Scoot being hard to relocate to BGW, wouldn't be an issue. Land can be reshaped for any reason or need. I'm sure they could have dug out a big hole. My example for that is Verbolten. They built a big hole for the event building, they could have done something similar for Le Scoot.
I think Le Scoot is original to the park because the park's history has shown only ride confirmed ride to not be original to the park. Although, it is interesting to see why the park "seemingly" has no record of where Le Scoot came from. I would think the park keeps very detailed records of each ride. Of course, they are probably in a manila folder stamped with top secret locked away in a filing cabinet in a warehouse hidden somewhere far from the park. But all joking aside, they have to have records somewhere, rides don't just pop out of thin air

Actually, this drop is dry and roller coaster-like...
Here is a pic of an example that better fits this description (called a "cascade drop" by Hopkins).
And doesn't WDW's Splash Mountain have a "cascade drop"? (Might not be by Hopkins, however)
EDIT: Just to clear up any misunderstndings, I know Le Scoot is an Arrow. I am just answering Swift's question about flumes with that kind of drop, and it just so happens that they are made by Hopkins. Sorry for any misunderstandings!
Yea. They were talking about the ride there (which I've been on) and that's the first thing tha came to mind!

I know what the thread is titled. Didn't need that from you. Family kingdom relates to this ride though as other members first brought up. Therefore, as long as I talk about the ride they related I see no need to add another thread to these forums that will die after about a page of posts. That is all. Back as you guys were previously discussing...
i love le scoot, but i never see a line for it. i have ridden it 5 times this year, and i have never waited more than 10 minutes, even verboltens opening weekend there was only a 10 minute wait. i hope this ride isnt unpopular as it is my favorite non coaster ride in the park and would hate to see it closed
I have walked by it on hot july days and it has like a 20 minute wait compared to 1 hour for efp and rr
well, on the topic of Le Scoot and it's queue, I honest to God once saw something...unspeakable...in the line. When it was discovered, they rerouted the line and got us all away from it. Without being too vulgar here, let's just say that someone apparently decided that losing their place in line to go...um, go...was not worth it. They decided the queue for Le Scoot was perfectly suitable.
