Legacy memberships complicated things a bit, but for Six Flags parks last year, buying a higher tier 2025 season pass got you:

- Park admission + add-ons (meal plans, etc) for the rest of 2024
- Admission all special events, including Fright Fest + Holiday In The Park, through the end of the 2025 season
- Upcharge Haunted Maze access for Fright Fest 2024 only (not confirmed, but heavily implied on their season pass benefit pages)

I wonder if KD, and the rest of legacy Cedar Fair for that matter, will follow a similar path; especially when it comes to the haunted houses.

They removed the renewal discount from season passes at least for the sale.

I'm still seeing a renewal price for Gold, but Prestige doesn't have one for some reason...

Maybe it's an error?

[edit: just realized I was including Dining in the pass cost]

Not seeing all-parks dining plan UPGRADE for 2025 on there anymore, so the only way to get it is with 2026 for $244? That would still be a redundant payment and not include legacy Six Flags parks, but still a consideration if Gold continues to include all parks next year, since I've already paid for this year's all-parks pass (used once except KD, at a SF therefore haven't upgraded Dining yet). What's really happening?

Just did a survey for KD, it's asking about things like single day ticket parking included, drinks included, extra day for $10, all summer included, twilight pass, kids cheap. Nothing about the current sale even though got it same day.

Holy shit I just realized the prices on Prestige. WTF is going on? You can either get a Prestige Pass at KD for $199 or you can pay TEN PAYMENTS OF $39 AND A DOWNPAYMENT OF $16 totaling a full price of $406?!

SURELY that's an error...?!
What a steal! Lol. Looks like someone mixed up the amounts, this is the screen when actually buying the pass:

Price fixed but still no discount for renewal.

That really seems unnecessarily shitty. New members receive MASSIVELY outsized value given how much additional use they get out of these mid-year pass releases. Tossing people renewing a $10 discount is the least they could do.
It seems every move they have been making this summer has been worse and worse to the point of absurdly devaluing the product.

What’s really strange to me is that part of the merger was to keep CF people mostly at the top, yet they seem to have taken on SF business methods. And SF was the one that was in worse shape, partially because of those methods.

T&C. Looks like reading back through, this is mainly for the gold pass without the MVP sale right now.

^^-- exactly, the new pass links to a contradictory Terms and Conditions which says a 2026 Gold Pass only gets you into the park it was purchased at and mentions All-Park addon. Not just not covering parking. Looked at both KD and CP sites. There is also a blog on the KD site which says: "Start off every visit to Kings Dominion by sailing through the toll booth without paying to park. The free parking benefit includes General Parking at Kings Dominion at no cost for the rest of 2025 and all of 2026. "

Looking at these T&Cs it also says you waive your right to a class action lawsuit, despite this company being completely slippery and contradictory. Also you waive your right to a jury trial, which seems both constitutionally impossible and makes me consider never setting foot in any of their parks again.

Has anyone figured out this thing yet? It's unclear to me if I would even keep what I've already paid for if I renew now. Meanwhile the all-parks upgrade to 2025 all-season's dining is no longer available (online, maybe in person?). Yes that would probably be a redundant cost of $45 if still getting a pass for next year, but getting it with next year's pass would be $244 and while I certainly hope to be going to parks next year, at my age that could change at any time.

Knowing if the seperate charge for the all-park addon is returning is also an essential part of this purchase decision. In the past, they'd always say buy now before the price increase, but the increase would be insignificant esp. for renewals.

So my gold pass expires in january. If I known for a fact im renewing should I do it now for the VIP sale while still paying on my pass till january? So that means im paying on 2 seperate passes?

Hope this question makes sense lol

Talked to guest services yesterday and sent a message online today. Here is what I got:

You have to look at the All Parks Passport terms. For the All Park Passport add on, parking is included at all parks. MVP is just the name of the sale.

The MVP sale includes the addition of the All Park Passport and no additional cost. Once the sale is over, the All Parks Passport may be a separate charge for those purchasing a pass. So if you already have it you are good.

Kings Dominion

Name: [...]
Looking at the MVP sale and clicking on "2026 Season Pass Terms and Conditions" it says "Gold Pass is valid only at the park from which it was issued" and "Gold Pass entitles the Passholder to complimentary parking ONLY at the park from which it was issued at the following Six Flags amusement parks." All Park Passport is mentioned separately but the MVP sale does not say specifically this is equivalent. The T&C doesnt mention MVP on it. In addition, the blog on the website says "The free parking benefit includes General Parking at Kings Dominion at no cost for the rest of 2025 and all of 2026." Not all parks. What is going on here and can you please fix it? This is being discussed on Facebook etc. Also, will the All-Parks add-on return as a separate cost? Sale says prices will increase but your sales always say that. Thank You
