Got my Gold Pass + All parks addon during the sale. Do I have to activate/get the pass printed at KD before I can use it at another park?
I've never tried it, but from what I've read people have had no problem scanning into other parks with the barcode in the app/on the website without visiting their home park first.
@CoasterMac I don't think so, you can go to any legacy Cedar Fair park first. As far as I can find there is no mention in the terms and conditions requiring a home park visit first.
There are mentions that a pass can be only replaced at the park of issue, which I know is not true, although next year a legacy Six Flags park will not be able to replace a legacy Cedar Fair pass. The terms and conditions state a handstamp will be required for reentry legacy Six Flags parks - presumably due to incompatible databases.
I do find it interesting that it prohibits having two valid passes at once. I guess I'll have to cancel my Six Flags membership at the end of the year. I was thinking of keeping it for the dining plan.

I wonder if this is so they can effectively enforce no re-entry policies during times when certain parks have them. For example, KD and Carowinds both have no reentry policies for haunt, and having both (assuming this is in 2025) a cedar fair legacy pas with all parks passport and a legacy six flags pass with all parks passport would allow you in twice since they’re both separate products.
I asked this elsewhere but it's really not the right place. Can you "renew" a 2023 pass to get a 2025 pass and the free Fall bring-a-friend ticket? Or can you only renew if it's a 2024 pass. I suppose I can just try and see, but I'm worried they'd let me do it, but then I wouldn't actually get the free bring-a-friend ticket. So if anyone knows, that would be super helpful!
It's supposed to be just a 2024 pass and those are the only ones that you can do online on your own but I do know of people who skipped a year after Covid that contacted guests services and got an exception to renewing a previous pass. Obviously the world has changed since then so they might not do it now but it's probably still worth giving them a call and seeing.
It’s not mentioned on their website (or at least I cannot find it) but if I buy the All Park Passport add-on for 2025 this year, do I get that benefit immediately? I already renewed my pass last month, so would be purchasing this add on separately. I will be near Carowinds in a couple weeks and don’t want to buy it, show up and then have to buy a day ticket and parking anyway
Yes! All park passport will work for the rest of 2024 at legacy cedar fair parks, just not at legacy six flags parks yet. Same with the drink and all park dining plan add ons as well.
For what benefits you will get, check the visiting parks website to see which benefits you’ll get at the park, as a few benefits do change between parks.
Ok I really don’t know where to post this, but is it possible for a Carowinds all park pass to get you into passholder preview? I have an all park pass, but it’s only registered under Carowinds, and trying to register my kd one has been a pain in the butt, so I hope the Carowinds all park pass will work.
Yes! Any of the legacy six flags and legacy cedar fair passes with all park passport will allow entry into passholder preview at KD.
Since I got the All Park Passport, I plan on visiting SFA a few times this year. Might be a silly question but I assume that I get free parking there as well like I do with KD?
Yes you do. Some people have reported getting discounts on in park purchases at SF parks but it's not officially listed as such so it's worth trying but don't complain if it doesn't go through.

I’m assuming this means you can visit for free through Canadian Labour Day this year, then next year you get the full season then Haunt and Winterfest included. But without that cleared up I could see some issues happening.
