Thanks for the update. I'm assuming since they already have it taken apart that they will go ahead and service it and maybe even refurbish it as well. What would be really nice is if they took off those terrible lapbar-like things in the cars. Are they really needed? The Flying Machine doesn't have them...

I'm going to miss the Katapult's German themed paint, but I do hope they give it a wood theme for New France. Maybe add some accessories like some fake ropes to make it look like some contraption made from logs and twine lashed together.

At least the new Katapult (Presumably now being named "Le Catapulte") will give me another reason to stay in New France longer than usual. I usually don't spend that much time in New France when I'm at the park.

Do you think they will have it installed by the opening because if they just now took it apart it may take weeks to re assemble

I think you're forgetting these rides wheres mades for carnies and stuff. If they have the site ready, it'll take a day or two.

Yeah...is the site ready they have less that a month to have it by pass-member preview day. They will have to take down the old stuff re pour a new foundation, rebuild entire ride and new paint.

Just to let everyone know, the name has been confirmed to be "Le Catapult." https://www.buschgardensnews.com/page/bignews

They should have called it "Le Catapulte" considering that's "catapult" in French. Just like how the German word is just changing the "C" to a "K", the French word is adding an "E" to the end.

hmm swift...spying on me I see. Yea it was taken earlier today. The picture was dark so I had to brighten it with a nice retro look.
