hmm swift...spying on me I see. Yea it was taken earlier today. The picture was dark so I had to brighten it with a nice retro look.

yeah it looked like it was one of the first pictures of the katapult ever.

Well that will suck if we have to wait that long for the ride. Not that it is a huge ride but it has to be alot easier to put together than Mach Tower. I wish they would have had it ready for tomorow.

I hope that they refurbished it before they sent it off for paint and they took off those terrible metal bars that come down over your lap. If the Flying Machine doesn't need 'em, why should Le Catapult?

Well the station is all up and ready...I think that it is more of the installation and wiring that needs to happen...every thing gets done at the last minute over there (the Christmas Town maps are still up!) so there is a possibility it MAY be open tomorrow...not guaranteeing anything...Little tidbit about everything getting done last minute: Sesame Street wasn't 100% ready until 5 minutes before they opened...always the possibility still =)

well theyd have to move it...put it up...wire it....test it...and im sure they would have to get an inspector out there to make sure its secured properly.

Not much to see, but I'll post 'em anyway.

It does look like Six Flags, actually Six Flags looks better at least they have trees over top of it........ I never thaught I would say something at Six Flags looks better than Busch Gardens.......

Agreed. Also, Busch Gardens, for the love of all that is good, quit using that generic black metal fence- it's everywhere I look now! It's supposed to be themed to New France, not the city park down the street.

I was honestly hoping for something like this

haha...they didn't have enough time to even attempt something with that amount of theming....that looks pretty cool though scout

Wow, that is terrible!

That better be a primer coat, red? seriously?

I hate to be a curmudgen but I don't like where this is heading.
A lame timber que, and a aluminum fence. Nice job guys. The lack of thought and frankly talent put into this is astounding. If they arn'nt going to put in the time and effort on the cheapest attraction what makes you think they will do any better on one that's gonna cost 10 times as much? First EitA, and now the Der Katapault. Simply renaming the thing "Le" Catapault and dumping red paint on it smacks of an "amusement park". The Octoberfest scheme was poor, but this tops it. I hope it's just temporary and they hav'nt painted or wrapped it in rope yet. if so, I'll take it all back.

I think I'll check those KD prices again, at least they charge amusement park prices. A theme park like ours should be more, and claims to be. They should strive to be better than the competition not just copy them. As much as I love this place, I'm beginning to think Busch may only be worth a Fun Card.

and hey, guess what!
We have the cheezy 200+ft maypole coming!!! oh joy.....

Good bye Old Country, at least I got to see you in your prime.
