Umm so I know it’s completely normal for wooden coasters and I might sound crazy but I rode invader yesterday and it was… rough…painful almost. And it was such a shock to me cause last time I rode it, it was silky smooth. So idk what was going on. Has anyone els noticed it or just me?

I rode it last weekend and it was completely fine, but something might have happened to the train or something 🤷‍♂️

Normally that'd be due to a combo of supports and track warping, swelling, or whatnot as the weather changes, however this ride is mostly steel for supports so there shouldn't be much change due to weather... Maybe some track wood is changing?

I was at BGW for the first time in April (that's actually when I found this site lol) and I really enjoyed discovering the rides. I really loved Invadr because of how reridable it was and how much fun it was at night. My girlfriend and I would marathon it at night before close, five or six times a visit. Just wanted to mention that because even though it's not the best ride at BGW, it's a really special ride to me because of those experiences. I was upset though when I was there and I couldn't find any Invadr merch. I know it's probably considered more of a family coaster and it's not one of the big boys, but I love wearing shirts of rides that are important to me, even if those aren't necessarily the best rides. Does anyone know if there was ever any Invadr themed merch in the park at one point? I ended up settling for a sweatshirt that had all of the coasters on it (including Invadr) but it would've been great to have gotten an Invadr t-shirt.

The only InvadR-dedicated shirt I know of that has been printed with an actual InvadR logo (read: ignoring multi-ride and generic viking merch) is a HORRIBLE coaster stats-covered design that I'm confident no one actually ever wanted.

I don't understand parks' unwillingness to merchandise family attractions. Who wouldn't want a shirt for their first coaster or their kid's first coaster? Family attractions often become beloved in ways that others don't. Merchandising them should be a no-brainer I'd think.

I want a park some year to do a “Softball Team” shirt. Classic baseball style shirt with a Stylized “Williamsburg” on the front with the BGW logo on the sleeve, and on the back the name of the Coaster and the year built.

Then they could do the same thing for every park and give them their own “team” colors.

InvadR is a fantastic coaster with a surprising drop and whippy speed.

The only good merch InvadR ever got were the coasters they gave to the media. Coaster coasters are the best.

I mean you ain’t wrong but this does look a bit better mounted than the bear was. Bear was mounted only to the edges of the zero car. This has a base and is mounted and centered on that base. I’d guess this looks much more secure.
