Least surprising news possible after the shitshow that was opening day. I’d actually be baffled if they chose NOT to bring it back after that.

Figured this was coming, it’s the only park in this new chain with any DC/LT theming. Doesn’t really make sense to keep the licensing for a single park, and retheming one park’s attractions to another IP or something original (the better option) is far easier and cheaper than expanding the IPs to the rest of Enchanted Parks.

I find it a little odd that Enchanted seeks to present one visible brand that unifies their parks. Herschend parks for example are Herschend parks but they didn't make anything Herschend's Silver Dollar City or Lake Compounce by Herschend. St. Louis is the only one that seems more difficult to rebrand but I don't think Enchanted Parks Mid-America sounds good and if it were my home park just the sound of it would piss me off lol
Thought some of you may find this interesting. It appears that Enchanted Parks is bringing back an onsite marketing team to Six Flags St. Louis.

Looks like the SkyScreamer ride got stuck 120 feet in the air at Six Flags St. Louis. The backup manual release system seems to have failed and multiple fire departments had to be called. It looks like they ended up using a crane to get riders off the ride.
Honestly, a scary moment for those on the ride considering a thunder storm was moving into the area and winds were up to 30 mph.
I believe this is a Funtime model ride? I’ve heard that the old Cedar Fair Mondial rides (that often go by the WinderSeeker name) had a few incidents where they could not be manually lowered to the ground, but this is the first I’ve heard of the Funtime model having this issue.
I believe the Mondial rides all had emergency platforms installed after a few of those rides got stuck in the air. I’m wondering if, after this incident, parks will start looking to do the same for the Funtime model. When the St. Louis model got stuck, there were only 4 people on the ride, and yet it took 2.5 hours to evacuate them. The fact that a storm was coming into the area, there were only 4 people on the ride, and it still took that long to evacuate the ride I think shows that parks may need to evaluate their backup plans.

Another bad name. Move over Great Adventure and Great America, there's a new sheriff in town: Mid-America Adventure. 
And on that note, I need to see the press release. Presumably ACE was just sloppy and wrote "Mid America Adventure" vs "Mid-America Adventure?" It has to have the hyphen officially, yeah? "Mid-" is bad, but "Mid " is so much worse.
Presumably they dodged "Mid-American Adventure" to avoid stepping on Disney's toes ("American Adventure")? Not that "Mid-American Adventure" would be much better, but it wouldn't sound quite as illiterate.
Ultimately I agree with the take that "Mid-America" has been the core problem with these names from the start. Six Flags Over Mid-America worked well for a hyper specific reason that would be very difficult to replicate. Enchanted should have gone a totally different direction—maybe going for something "Heartland" or "Gateway" related?
Five years from now we'll have all adjusted to any name no matter how horrible, so it'll be a non-issue in the end. Do just want to be on record though as thinking this is a bad name.

“Mid Mid America” sounds like a Star Wars spinoff side character.
Should have gone with Missouri's Adventure. At least it would tie in with the Michigan park.
This will be a great way to add to great adventure, great America, California's great America, and now Mid America Adventure
I know Six Flags doesn’t hold the rights to having Adventure in their park names, so they can’t stop EP from doing this… but why would EP deliberately pick a name that would make confuse people into thinking they are still part of the Six Flags chain?
