Has anything been heard on these issues lately?

1- Illuminights 2013 rumors?

2- CT being included with the concept of a true "annual" pass?

3- a customizable pass; priced based on selected events?

For myself, I have a platinum pass and use the hell out of it. Living only 10 minutes away I usually hit the park up twice a week during season. I AM DEFINITELY getting my money's worth. The preferred parking that comes with a PP is a time saver. I probably save 10-15 minutes entering and leaving the park (20-30 total) because of by-passing trams, tram lines, etc.
The annual pass name should be changed if it is not really used for park entry all year round.

The Ledgend of Killarney may be getting some love. Also as for passes, it is just easy for guest to understand annual equals one year which means that's how long it lasts. When you think into it too much you get this. What else are they supposed to call it? I think Christmas Town will be added in the next few years however when that happens single day tickets for Christmas town will be more expensive by a lot. They also have to find a way to justify it, since their major rides are closed and the GP only goes for rides. They have to make this place seem like heaven.

They will still have Illuminights. The park is looking to have a major event for each season. Spring = Food & Wine Festival, Summer = Illuminights, Fall = Howl-o-Scream, and Winter = Christmas Town.

I talked to a few sources and apparently the reason for the shortening of Illuminights is due to the cost of fireworks. Not sure if anyone knew but fireworks aren't exactly cheap. It is also the same reason why the park doesn't do New Years fireworks anymore. If your going to have fireworks at least have them for a big crowd rather than a little obscure crowd. Also if you haven't noticed they reduced the fireworks show from a 15 minute show to a 6 minute show; or at least one of my sources proclaims so, the 4th of July one that is. Each day it got smaller and smaller. I was originally told one night of fireworks for Illuminights costed around $10,000 not sure how accurate that is, but if anyone is willing to prove it or deny it with good evidence go for it.

The biggest flaw with the fireworks that i saw was the lack of cohesion. Music playing + fireworks does not create a stunning show. Proper choreography to music is what makes a show. BGW is fully capable of doing that. A stunning show four nights a week Fri-Sun and Wed would be something sufficient.

I will make some inquiries to the nightly cost of Wishes to get a comparison.

Yes, $10,000 is correct. It does keep people in the park though late at night. The fireworks they do are fine. I hope they add the each village fireworks back.

Jordan, the fireworks they had for New Years didn't help bring much of crowd than they have now for New Years, however Illuminights is a different story. Many people do come for the fireworks, however there is a point where the income is just barely over the expense and not so much worth it. It doesn't even have to be barely just a small profit. Business wise, they have to make cuts and this is just forward answer. Plus the fireworks bring people on days when there are none. I have run into quite a few people who expected fireworks in the Spring.

As for the village fireworks, those were nifty. Especially if you were in Ireland and didn't have a very good view for the main display, you at least got to be close to something. Now you have to gather all together and squish yourselves to see fireworks at one prime location creating more congestion. I think the village fireworks would help spread guests out and help ease the flow of pedestrians in the park. Have a display in Ireland, France, Oktoberfest, and Italy, and the main display over the water. In theory it would work out well, not to sure how it does in reality but idk.

There are plenty of great spots to see the fireworks. Not just the bridge.

The fireworks were nice, but I'd rather not have them going off every single night (mayber Friday through Sunday). Most parks are incorporating weekend fireworks into their summer lineup. That should help keep the costs down while giving the park more room for a bigger dusplay.

Having fireworks going off in the different villages is probably gonna add to the already high cost unless the park decides to modify its fireworks schedule.

What if they just do a huge hour long chicken dance show!?

I mean, sweet, so a new show in Ireland at least.

Well, hopefully there will still be a big fairy in there somewhere or my little girl will be disappointed.
