an axis would be a dumb addition because its to similar to Tumbili.I've said this before and I'll say it again.... if I had to put money on a model that they'd be getting, it would be an Axis and this is exactly the reason why I'd feel safest with my money there. It's more so that the free spin popped up not very long after the wing coaster was allegedly scrapped. It makes me feel like S&S couldn't get the Axis in their timeframe but they could deliver a free spin so they worked out a twofer.

does anyone know what happened to the wing coaster plans?
im talking about the GP and cedar fairs willingness too install such a similar ride to TumbiliHow so? Free spins are all about the rotation on a horizontal pivot point for vertical flips with no possible lateral forces, Axis can have lateral movements with the horizonal pivot point keeping the cars upright for the most part.
Unless you're meaning from a non-thoosie guest PoV, but even then - paint it a different color, use a different animal for theming, and make it obvious that the track layout has different elements in it and I don't think most people would assume it's the same... Even if they may not call it by the correct name.

S&S said that the lift hill would provide a very unique experience to the axis and they somewhat recommend it but they will build whatever the customer requests. There's no reason that they couldn't build a launch. TBH I'm kind of torn.... I really want Volcano's replacement to be a launch but I feel like an Axis may be the only coaster type that I feel would be a worthy replacement and not even have to be a launch. The production Axis coasters are not launch coasters, right? To me that makes it not a great choice to replace Volcano, but it would be a good ride to add.
Thoughts on an inverted Gerstlauer coaster? I remember watching a Coaster studios video a few weeks ago that mentioned a possible Gerstlauer invert in the Netherlands. I didn’t even know they made an inverted model. If it were to be Gerstlauer, I’m definitely hoping for an infinity or invert over the euro fighter.
